This song to me is Avatar in a nutshell. It has the uptempo power metal of the first albums, the atmospheric breakdowns of Black Waltz, the catchy mainstream feel of Hail the Apocalypse, and its own clean and melodic vocals which seems to be a new theme of the new album. Great bands evolve. And Avatar does just that but also makes sure they bring back the past sounds. Awesome

Yup, they really have the unique talent to blend everything into a wonderful mix. You can hear Prog, power, death and heavy all at once in one single song.

Original sound and it sounds great. They outdid themselves on this one compared to Hail The Apocalypse, and only heard a few new songs. This album better win some award.

I don't like to label music but this is definitely not melodic death metal even if there are some screams and growls. Overall, it has a Power Metal feel.

Something i noticed.... each painting represents (in order) each song of the new álbum. The sixth is for the swarm (bees) the last one is sky burial (the owl fading away) and the 12 snow lies red (the bleeding fox). Thank you for the amazing music avatar!

Avatar has some of the best instrumentals these days

That... was awesome! It started off reminding me a little bit of Pink Floyd then turned into a System of a Down / Sabaton hybrid with a little Rhapsody of Fire mixed in. This band has a great deal of talent and a flair for the dramatic, and they never cease to surprise me with their ability to compose and mix different styles while maintaining their originality and signature sound. I can't wait to see them live again.

Yeah, i couldn't stop thinking about Rhapsody of Fires song "Reign of terror" when the chorus kicked in. I really like their latest album. It has lots of elements from other great bands, while turning them into something unique.

Coming back for some nostalgia, I remember hearing the eagle has landed on the way to my summer camp when I was in the 3rd grade 3 years later, and they're still one of my favs

Honestly, one of my favorite things about this band is that their songs don't feel as long as they are. I get lost in their music and before I'm aware of the world around me, 5-7 minutes have past. There's never a dull moment in their songs :)

People associate things they enjoy. It's kind of like someone used to tell me my band sounded like Gwar. That person was a huge Gwar fan. We were a thrash metal band so I didn't hear it, but you get what I'm saying? It's like this reminds me of Amon Amarth. The idea of going on an epic adventure.

i didnt hear avenge at all until i read your comment. but now i can totally hear it at certain segments in the song. and i hear it in the instrumentals more so than the vocals.

Can really hear the Metallica influence in the clean singing.

He can have the most brutal hards then go into those powerful cleans so easily. Him and Tatiana from jinjer are easily my two favourite metal vocalist right now. Not too many can top them in my ears.

Makes me sad, such a unique band, and one of the bands that actually need a big budget to operate at full capacity (making MVs like theirs isn't exactly cheap), so they need the recognition.
