It would not be that bad, but also the placing of the persons, who are connected to each other. Sometimes when people are placed together, they are married, sometimes they're siblings, and sometimes they're father-kid relationship...

I would have liked to see Korra's linage traced back further. Since her father and Uncle were northern tribe chiefs and there appears to be a hereditary component to water tribe leadership, at some point she is probably related to Chief Arnook (Princess Yue's father from Last Airbender).

Just so you know, when drawing family trees, horizontal lines connecting two people denote marriage or relationship, and vertical lines denote filiation (parents and children). Sibilings can't have an horizontal line connecting them (well, unless they are also married to each other), they appear as branches of one line descending from their parents. And most defenitely you can't put a child horizontally next to their parents! Also, the levels of the tree denote generation, so Mai's parents can only be one level above her. You draw them three levels above, making it seem like they are contemparies with Avatar Roku and Firelord Sozin! After that I stopped watching cause, well, it was terrible

Maybe I misheard but it sounded like you said Aang ran away after being told off by the fish merchant. While this does indeed happen, that is not what caused him to get trapped in the iceberg, it is what happened in the episode where we *learn* how he got trapped in the iceberg The actual chain of events is like this 1) air nomad council discovers Aang is the Avatar and tells him prematurely due to visions of the coming invasion 2) the council tells Gyatso that he is not training Aang correctly and says he will ship Aang off to another temple 3) Aang overhears this and runs away, is caught in a storm, and freezes himself in the iceberg before he drowns

Legend of Kora indicates that Toph didn't marry either of the fathers of their children. They probably would have known who their dad's were other wise. They were either really brief relationships or one night stands.

I’m happy I’m not the only one that caught that Aang named his first child after is old childhood friend who we saw later in “Avatar the last air bender” King Bumi. That has to be one of my favorite episodes from both shows.

Well you missed Kyoshi's family. Her wife Rangi, her daughter Koko. Her parents Jesa and Hark, Rangi's mother Hei'ran Sai'naka.

@@HueManatee kyoshi haveing a daughter is from the origional show bonus features. The little girl in the episode the kyoshi watriors is called koko and the special feature said sje was mamed in the honour of Kyoshi's daughter. Yee had nothing to do with that decission, that was all mike and bryon.

Also it is interesting that we never come across anyone who claimed to be a relative if kyoshi or the other avatars. You would think that they would be treated in a special way if they were Descendants or previous Avatars

I have a theory. Tonraq and Unalaq are the sons of Sokka and Suki. If Tonraq is the chief of the South Pole, and Sokka's father Hakoda was the chief in ATALA, that means Sokka was after him and then his son (Tonraq) Tonraq and Unalaq father are unknown, in LOK we don't get answers to Sokka child because this is so clear, this is also means that Sokka is Kora grandfather and Kora related to Aang.

I like how this video refuses to acknowledge same-sex relationships and makes it seem like siblings are married to each other at the same time.

Actually in the comics the promise sorry for spoiler but in the promise Mai and zuko break up and then there’s smoke and shadow which addresses the breakup but it doesn’t show them making up and we haven’t seen any other new avatar comics

This is one of the best animated series that have existed HANDS DOWN ITS JUST AMAZING ALL The way down to the recarnation cylce the amazing storytelling , memorable characters, redemption arc , the war genocide, great soundtrack , and unforgettable moments , it has it all iterally a masterpiece

I away only encounter one Problem, bending can be a bit wishy-washy at times with it's rules. The problem that is the most Notable is of course the one-hit moves some benders could pull, like earth benders just trapping you, water benders could just freeze your entire body (Like how Pakku did during the full moon) Its just that they never really gave an explaination about these tactics, for airbenders they did, sucking the air out of someones body was just seen as the absolute worst thing you could do since air nomads were so friendly.

The fact that Azula is pronounced wrong makes me happy 😂

What really happened was that Aang heard that he and Gyatso were going to be seperated, so he ran away

We don't know that salai is the earth avatar before szeto, all we know about him is that he was revered in the time of kyoshi like yang Chen, before szeto was revealed people thought he was salai.

I think we need to have a line from Kyoshi to her warriors and suki, which is also connected to team avatar

Iroh II's mother is Izumi and his grandfather is Fire Lord Zuko 😭😅

It,s funny who he mispronounced almost all of the names but the description was right tho

The names pronunciations are so good holy hell

raava and vaatu fused then avatar line until roku, roku married to ta min, had rina, rina married zinzuk, they then had ursa, who married noren and oza, oza and ursa had zoku and azula, zuko married “mia”, who married tom-tom, then tom-tom, “mia” and zoku have “zum” who gets married to iroh II, who die. zuko also married aang,katara and sokka, aang then had frozen for 100 years and got married to aang, who was born by gyatso. katara and sokka married, they had hakoda and kya, siblings, who married, hakoda had kaono, who was married to pakku. back to roku. roku married aang, who had ice, then he had aang, then toph(who was part of team avatar) got married to kanto and unkown and had lots of kids.aang also married korra, mako was part of team avatar, who was married toboin, they then had asami. the end

The fact Mai is spelled and said wrong is hurting me Edit: what in the hell did it say for Aang?!? 😭 Edit 2: the more I watch the more disappointed I become Edit 3: My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

This is my first video I just want to say the lines are very confusing my best suggestion is to use different lines for different relationships like avatar line, spouse, and siblings.

This man has taught me more then my school could ever teach me about the simplest things 💀💀💀 Edit: also, are we not gonna talk about how mako and bolins mom is basically just asami without makeup-

Korra's family line couldnt be extended since her father was supposed to inherit the position of tribal chief. So the royals of the northern water tribe mentioned in ATLA can be linked to korra
