The entire team deserves praise...to bring to life an imaginary world as close to as reality as possible..🥳💐 Just look at those working alongside the actors to create the scenes..maneuvering the props, coordinating with the actors and getting it all right.. ...wow... ..intense, man..

The 100s of supporting crews are extremely dedicated with there work. All combination of hardwork resulted the best.

It's so amazing watching these raw clips. You don't realize how amazing the actors are until you see what little they are working and reacting with.

How can they express themselves without surrounding.... 👍👍

They see the animation, and are able to internalize the moment. Easy to do, really.

They were brought to Hawaii and interacted with the environment to get an idea of the type of environment their characters were in before shooting. James Cameron did so much to try and prepare these actors. I'm looking forward to The Way of Water.

Thats how you bridge the uncanny valley. LOTS of hard work. We are still not 100% there, even in 2022. But I think its 95%. In a decade or so, once that gap is truly bridged (for human faces), it will change entertainment. Good or bad, remains to be seen.

I bursted laughing when I saw James Cameron acting as the head of that ikran xD I have no idea how these actors were able to act so good in such an environment.

Love the docs and the commentary and the featurette’s but I completely agree that with the film score and the animal sounds in the background I’d watch the pre- cgi version the whole way through. Just incredible. Watching the new footage of Way of Water footage is just as amazing too, the level of genius it took to figure out how to shoot these films.. I will never get tired of watching it.
