What does Kadri have to do with this incident? McDavid is the one who hit the puck into the bench, don't hear you complaining about him.

@@TheUofUman it's a long running joke. Everything in the NHL is either, Kadri's fault, Wilson's fault, or Bettman's fault. Lol sometimes Marchand but it's been years since someone's said that one

You used to think Kadri’s suspensions in the past were appropriate, but then Sakic traded for him and your biased view toward the Avalanche in general made you come to the conclusion that his suspensions were not actually Kadri’s fault? I’m sorry, but I see no reason to do that if somehow, some way my team signs him. I’ve got guys on my team that are no angels and I know they’re capable of playing dirty.

Friendly reminder that goalies in the NHL didn't wear masks until Jacques Plante did it in 1959 (there was also a Japanese player, Teiji Honma, who wore a mask during the Olympics in 1936).

What still blows my mind is that once upon a time Goalie Gump Worsely took a Bobby Hull slapshot to the side of the head. He stayed in net for the final 3 minutes of the game bleeding on the ice. The Montreal crowd gave him a standing O just for finishing the game....Did I mention he never wore a mask!!!!!.....They were a different breed back then.

@@reasonablerage4370 It's amazing how old retired boxers, wrestlers, goalies, football lineman....anyone with repeated head trauma sound in interview's. ...They are still coherant. It's just there is that........pause.....every now and then. You know what it is, and out of respect give them their time. But you know why they have those time lapses.They pay the price.

End up having glass in front of the benches lol

Playoffs about to start and your backup goalie gets injured off something stupid? Sounds about right for the Avs.

Going into playoffs and the avs get injured again. I honestly don't know if mackinnon will stick around for much more

@@MuShMaNn there’s no nets behind the bench. It’s only 8 feet of glass. There’s a similar possibility of a fan getting hit in the face with the puck as the goalie on the bench. It’s rare but it happens.

No wonder he is a backup. His reflexes are terrible
