FYI taking Zuni's set to a 1000m fuse work absolute wonders against aircraft in head-on encounters. I'll typically get 1-2 Zuni kills per match and 1-2 Aim-9G kills per match. +the guns on this guy still hit hard. Thanks for the vid Tank!!

I like using this for air superiority in GRB. It's also like the only non-premium plane below 10.3(for USA) that has flares so that's pretty nice.

@@erichriedel466 well the A-4E is a squadron vehicle which is close enough to being a premium since it takes longer to research a squadron vehicle than grind to the tier of the squadron vehicle excluding rank 7 squad vehicles

AV-8B Harrier II Plus would be the Ultimate version. i would actually like the Harrier Plus in game as a step up from the regular Harrier

@@eronnn542 The Harrier GR.7 is already in the British tech tree, so I assume the AV-8B will come soon, hopefully as a vehicle in the next update (but probably over shadowed by whatever else is added) or at a minimum sometime later this year

Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure I was in a game with Tank couple days ago and he is just as polite in not ksing as he is in the videos. Good man

If you want more harrier footage, give the sea harrier a second pass. The BR changes since you made its video did it some favors. I've got it recently and at one module left to spade it I've got the grand total of 2 full uptiers.

All of the rank 6 Harriers are 9.7 ATM; tough the US ones suffer from a inferior bombload, what makes them less profitable in Air RB (+ harder to spade the 8C), but in mixed battles I'd definitely pick the Zunis over the 5x1000lbs, IF I had any reason to pick the AV-8 over the A-10A or F-4C for CAS, yet over a helicopter, with the US, but maybe we do get the AV-8B one day. The 30mm are not very good guns, but at least they hit hard, and planes can rarely RTB after a hit (unlike when u crti something with the 20mm). That poor Su-17 has no flares at all, that's why its dropped from 11.0 to 10.3 and its a big (and hot) plane... and the 22M3 has like 12, but if he's like me he carries a mix with chaff.

No VIFFing (vectoring in forward flight) for the UK replacement of the Harrier - the F35. Maybe that has something to do with the decision of the US Marines to stick with the Harrier (among other reasons...)

As a Harrier GR1 possessor: buy this one, if you cannot decide between them, when it comes to RB. In sim, they both hold the ground well imho.

I have a talisman on this thing and it's one of my best aircraft. A real monster and it can dogfight, provided you position yourself properly and manage your energy...

I kinda miss the old review style with the rating numbers and pros and cons listings. I don’t care too much about the gameplay compilations since performance is going to be highly reliant on individual skill and less on the plane. I just think it shouldn’t be the majority of the video for just gameplay. Just my opinion though.

I was hoping for a review on the armaments, etc, not a "Watch my epene" video.

Finally a review on this underrated plane! 🎉

the AV-8A has over 200% more research multiplier than the AV-8C, and the about 150% more silver lions multiplier, you made the right choice sticking to the AV-8A

AV-8C with countermeasuers and great missiles at 9.7. GR1 with NO countermeasures and mediocre missiles at 9.7. How?

AV-8A is premium, so more rewards and costs real money. It can have a custom loadout, so bombs and missiles. AV-8C has internal flares and chaff (so less, but less drag too) and it has radar warning.

We need the Av 8B

It’s not ‘abnormal’, the Pegasus engine on the Harriers have an insane amount of acceleration

If you mean it being set to hover in the top left, that's just a glitch. If you are referring to the engine power, yup it goes hard

Reality this can get 2kill and can’t dogfight against fastjet just my experience can’t get 3 to 5 kills

It’s really not the best American harrier though ingame, unless it has the extra flares like the AV8A then the premium one is better

C model has a RWR, which is a big deal. Losing the center pylon for more flares is about neutral, 60 is enough most of the time
