Also, I would like to recommend an area in Japan called Nikko > Lake Chuzenji, there is a beautiful cafe tucked away in the mountain called TOKI Coffee, I think you will love it ;)

I'm studying Japanese too and it's kinda crazy how much harder learning the Japanese writing is. Just speaking and grammar isn't so bad, but yeah, the Kanji is horrible. Another great vlog, so peaceful.

i love that sometimes they have to write the hiragana in fine print over kanji because even native japanese speakers might not know it hahaha

One of your Gyeongju vlogs was why we decided to come to Gyeongju in the first place(thank you by the way). And I remember thinking to myself, like what are the odds we get to bump into you there🤣. @@caricakes I swear Shanghai just skips autumn. We went from 26 degrees and sunny and then the next day it was 4 degrees in the morning and went up to 10 in the afternoon 😭😭 never get to wear the cute autumn cardigans 😂😂

I was just thinking about Gyeongju province. My father’s bloodline comes from that area so he used to talk about it on occasion, and named my son after the Gyeongju Province. Thank you Cari!

Gyeongju actually isnt a province, its a city! You might be thinking of Gyeongsangbuk or Gyeongsangnam provinces?
