i'm so happy i found this video bc I restarted my island (for the update) and starting FRESH with this aesthetic has been awesome. it reminds me so much of new leaf. this is what I always wanted my island to look like, but couldn't figure it out. So THANK YOU! I now have the spooky college town of my dreams. :-)

It looks so homey and everything fits well together. I like how you thought of each item. I also like that you can see the path well. I personally am less of a fan of overgrown paths that I can't see and I like to see the paths. Overgrown paths can be pretty, but also I like having some function to the paths since I'm running around them, so this has given me some ideas.

Looks amazing!! I always have a hard times with the paths. You make it look so easy. Love watching these videos.

I plan on keeping this island in Autumn but if i do want to change i can just save over the design codes and they will stay where I've placed them! Other than that i would just probably change some more decorations to be more seasonally appropriate! xx

Sometimes I wish I could hire someone to do all my pathing and stuff for me and I just tell them where I want it and then fill in the spaces myself😂 I always get stuck on these things!

I definitely only have 100 unfortunately :( I try to make the most of the codes I use and resave if I find ones that better fit my theme! I wish we had more slots though

So sad my islands colors havent started changing yet, I've been back to playing for a few days but only just now on the 13th I'm seeing a cple of trees turning yellow. Still have super green grass though lul

In order for people to have their trees changing color, they have to time travel, which is what the creator of this video did. If you don’t time travel and play in real time, you have to wait until a specific date before trees change.
