Could you create a video strictly about working with strobes. Separate strobes and fixtures that have multi functions including strobe like Chauvet Circus or some of these new lifts that are lasers and strobe lights built in. Writing custom strobe performances.

Can you please make a video for lasers, I have the dual laser by chauvet. I have tried auto scripting, but the lasers are always on. I have tried setting a attribute cues for them to turn off and they aren't responsive, they continue to stay on

I've tried your software guys, it's got great potential, but there are a few things holding it back which I'd like to see addressed before I purchase. 1) When using non-colour wheel fixtures, ie. LED RGB fixtures, the colours always fade, this isn't always a good look, because if you switch from purple to green, you get white during the transition where all 3 colours are on. This needs to be addressed because I don't want white in my shows unless it's for a strobe effect. The same goes for switching from orange to blue, red to teal etc. I don't want to stick to just blue, red and purple for my shows. 2) Auto generating shows for libraries needs to allow you to select a number of show presets to randomly choose from. When I tried your software you could only pick one, which would mean all of my shows would look the same unless I individually did each of my thousands of songs, which I'm not going to do. If you fixed the above issues, I would certainly buy your software and your control one hardware - It's what I'm looking for aside from the issues.

thank you for the tutorial. I undestud that if i have no atribute cues the autoscript will have nothing to work with.... thats why when autoscriped tracks just pulse on the beat and thas it.... curious that i seted up my positions cues but on auto lights dont move as scriped.... and more they move ouside the poitions i seted already...things change only if i go to a specific song, click AUTO, save, and then thelights use full potential.... am i missing something ?

I am having a terrible time opening the tracks that I autoscripted in Engine DJ. The dot that was supposed to show up under the SOUNDSWITCH tab showed up yesterday, but it's gone today....help!!

Hello everyone, I apologize because I am a new soundswitch user and I don't know many things about it. I just bought the soundswitch control one, I have a Denon Prime 4, I have already made the analysis of my songs in sound switch, I have already added my lights in their respective directions. Now I would like to connect the soundswitch control one to the prime 4, but for some reason it doesn't work. The lights move, but as if there is a problem with the directions of each light, however, it can't be that, because the lights work perfectly with the dmx I have used before the soundswitch. I think I'm doing something wrong when exporting the file that soundswitch creates when analyzing and creating the shows for each song. Could you please tell me what are the steps I should follow to export the show created in soundswitch to my prime 4? And what is the configuration that I must do in my prime 4 to recognize and work my soundswitch control one? Thank you all very much and I hope you can help me.

I have been for the last few days auto scripting songs and for some reason its not saving the tag. I am using a external HD, once I close down Soundswitch at times, then open it back up on the same computer or my other one both Macs, the songs that I scripted are not scripted, the songs are bot locked or anything in Serato, this is really frustrating me. I just bought the Control One 2:51

Is it possible to autoscript about 1000 tracks at once without working on them one by one, and transport the scrip to a usb to use it on my mixstream pro controller? I have about 1200 tracks and cant imagine myself autoscripting them one by one and send each one to the usb library

Doesnt work. I upload a song to soundswitch and it plays fine, but beatgrids ARE NOT matching to the song automaticly like in the video. I have to do everything manually, what is wrong?

At 8:30 you mention "If I click play now, I probably wouldn't get any effects coming out of my movers." Is there a way to autoscript position and attribute cues for all tracks? Like autoscript batch

Did you figure this out? I'm not getting any movement in my autoscript tracks.

What is the multi cell category? Would that be good for things like mini spiders, or would those be considered movers?

Hey Justin, Multi Cell fixtures are any light that multiple lighting outputs such as Chauvet Core 3x3 or something like that mini Spiders. Using this Category for your fixtures will change the types of effects created by the Automation. The best option is to change the category and then run an Autoscript to see what the effect is, if you do not like the effect, simple change the category to something else.

I watched part of the video and couldn't help but notice there are differences between the SS version in the video compared to my version of SS (2.2). Particularly, the Autoscript dropdown that shows the presets available and also the amount of built-in presets shown @ 6:50 mark. To get to preset selections, I have to go into Advanced to select one and there's only 3 presets with 12 base styles which isn't even close to the amount shown @ 6:59... Is that supposed to be in the new update?

Can I control generic lights via dmx with soundswitch?

It would be really cool to drag and drop to reorganize my groups. If I want to insert a new Group its always down and I cant move it.

its that impostant the position of the group in the DMX edit mde? i use lights in groups and then i select the type of the light (primary, secondary etc) depending of the position in my setup , and select grouping...

How is this different than right clicking on a song and choosing Autoscript?

Am I reading this right you need to do this for every song in your library

Ok when I try to autosynch a beat to a soung it tells me I need to set a beat grid first. Conveniently, yours already had a beat grid. My question is, how do I make a beat grid?

The SoundSwitch and Engine DJ integration is nice - since the Prime4 can analyze tracks wouldn’t it be kool if it also auto script a SoundSwitch light show 🤔

IMHO it can't work because SS is not even able to take the beatgrid from Denon. A beatgrid is necessary to do an autoscript.

Hey guys, have you done any video guides to do with lasers? I have the CR Laser Fine Pro and it doesn’t auto script anything for it!

I am here to complain and cry I can’t get my soundswitch to work. Took it to a gig and it did not even start a show.

This is still not ready for prime time too complicated. A dj is busy hyping the party selecting the music and mixing the tracks seamlessly taking requests, adding music, taking more requests, making announcements, troubleshooting the software, dealing with drunks, last thing we need is some overly complicated lighting program to fuck with. What we really need is, something that pairs with the fixtures like bluetooth or something like that the fixture automatically id's and connects to dj software and simply starts to perform accurately to the music.

You set this all up before you go to the event... you would just need to go through all of the tracks and make sure you are happy with the auto script. Or you could just trust it and if you aren't happy on the day, override it with the autoloop function.
