Recording Movement Looks as Positions MA2 TUTORIAL

Ever wanted to store the look from a movement effect so you could use it later as a position preset? I'll show you how in this Grand MA2 tutorial. You should have a good understanding of the effects engine before attempting this.

    That is awesome!! I've watched several of your video's recently, and while I'm only looking at this from a hobbyist perspective on the same level of budget (so can't afford an MA2) your tutorials have triggered some thoughts behind how I can get more out of QLC+. Thank you . :)

    I'm gonna keep it 100, I never thought of doing programming like that. I'm working on a gig for tonight and this saved so much compounded time that I was able, especially since I did not really have time to program since its at a school! You should do an interview or something with VJs and how you may (or may not) be working in conjunction with them. That would pretty sweet to see.

    hey Christian. I love your videos. I am a newbies and not in your profession at all. Since I am a kid I am always attracted to light shows like a cat after a laser. I find your videos are really great and explain quite well your profession. (Even if sometimes I do not undertsand all your stuff maybe because it is your professionnal expressions). Anyway continue like that. I didn't check all your video yet, but if it isn't already done, maybe it would be great to explain each differents material (laser, lights, etc), what they do and how you connect them for instance. Also cool different machines like smog machine, fire machine, small fireworks etc if it is also in your competences. Thanks dude. the best.

    Best advice on how to start doing this as a career

  • @LVessell

    @LVessell

    6 жыл бұрын

    Start as a lighting apprentice. Work for someone who has an established career. If you do an amazing job or you start putting a lot of work into this, they'll eventually pay you. Being an apprentice gives you knowledge from someone else, even at your own pace if you have the time alone to work on software like GrandMA2 and others. It also puts your name & face out there. If you put out things like photos of your shows onto Instagram or talk to any connections you might have, it grows into basically your own business. This isn't a job you can build in just a few weeks. It'll take months or even years of work. To recap: 1. Be an apprentice for someone established 2. Learn more about lights and software. 3. Start gathering photos and videos of your work 4. Put your name out there in the industry 5. Start contacting people or you'll possibly get work to come to you. 6. Repeat from 2.
