Hello. I want to ask about the middle screw at the filter. People say that the long screw connect to a free nut that can move. How you open and tightened the screw ?

I don't know about that All I do is to tighten the screw and there you go that's it thank you

You have to remove the valve body because the nut is on the top of the valve body, it wont tighten and will fall out unless you remove the valve body

Bad design from Nissan, because this strainer has to be cleaned at some point, but it never gets clogged fully so i dont think its suppose to be completely removed

@@scottgriffin449 Thank you. I have done replacing the filter. Yes the valve body need to be taken out. Upon replacing the filter, I have install that particular bolt upside down so that the nut is on the low side. Easier next time, no need to take out the valve body kzread.info/dash/bejne/n4WT3LyOndXUnaQ.html
