This parts list is provided as an assistance to anyone wanting to automate the Star Sizer. The parts listed are the ones used in the video and have proven to operate exceptionally well. Substituting other parts may or may not work as well, and will necessitate experimentation to coordinate the moving parts.

Very many thanks for providing this comprehensive parts list, as most people have compressed air on hand I think this is a very practical conversion to consider, it is very convenient for us that you have done all the R&D on this and presented us with the complete package. Chris B.

This setup is a game changer for the caster who is looking for a reasonably cost effective automatic sizer. I had thousands of bullets sitting in boxes dreading the arm pulling chore ahead. I had viewed the 3 or 4 adaptations with the Star on KZread and tried to duplicate them. It has taken me 7 months and many, many hours of figuring out the ways it won’t work. The goal was to make the Star Sizer an automated sizer. I sent a video to Magma Engineering, and talked with the owner. He was very complementary of the modification. When he heard how many it could size per hour, he commented, “That approaches commercial production rates.” I continue to tweak the setup and improve my manufacturing process. Anyone who owns a Star Sizer can automate it and eliminate the drudgery of hand pressing each and every bullet. 😃

Dan, I very much like your video on the automated star sizer. Where can I find your material list you talked about. Also, will your automated star be able to Lube and size at the same time using your setup ?
