Yeah games were playing smooth until it updated so I attempted to go back to the previous faster version and it gives me this After I fix this I'm gonna install linux

I’ve been going at this for 4 days now, I’ve tried resetting my pc all together 3-4 times, I’ve system restored from 3 different dates, I’ve typed who knows how many command prompts, I tried using my original windows usb to restart. I tried automatic repair. I tried messing with my bios start up settings and configurations. This beyond stupidity. I simply turned my computer off for the night and woke up to this monstrosity.

@@anthony-if5ut Apparently there's a problem with the Windows 10 October updated, I checked Microsoft's website but you need to make sure your bios is UEFI enabled and that secure boot is on cause if those are off and can mean someone's trying to get in

@@jonathanwick3016 I was getting the log error on my Nvme E drive, so I installed windows on a drive and used that bootup on another storage device until I could replace my nvme (E drive.) with a new one. Then I completely reset my pc. Sorry it’s not a simpler fix, but I wish you luck

Thanks for the tips, a couple of notes: * PerfLogs is Performance Logs not Perfect Logs. * \ is backslash, not forward slash - forward slash is not interchangeable as it indicates a switch option for the command being used

What if my keyboard and mouse turns off before it goes to the "Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC" screen? Cause I'm having that problem.

I've already tried it and it always asks me to log in. And every time I type in any password, even if it's the correct one, it will say: "the password is incorrect, please try again". I've tried asking it to reset my password, but it always takes me straight back to the automatic recovery menu again. What do I do?

My laptop has some problem please can you help me? While ı was listening to music and playing Sims 4 in laptop, the laptop just got freezed and suddenly blue screen of death popped up. This thing was not the first and hadnt made a problem but since now. After ı restarted the computer. But while the computer was booting it was first lagging and stays in the black screen whole the time. After like an hours it booted up and the log in screen came up but there is one more problem. There is no password box in the log in screen. When ı hit the enter it just shows the background blurry but no password box to write to acces the desktop. I searched so many solutions but none of them worked for me. Most of them fixing by startup settings by safe mode but when ı go to advanced options there is no startup settings to go to safe mode. Even the automatic repairing is not working. Even system restore, removing updates, startup repair those arent worked. I dont know how to fix this problem can please someone help me?

So, what do I do after 4:54 if I just get those top two lines with and . and and .., and after that just ‘0 files - 0 bytes’ and below that ‘2 Dir(s) - 432.831.098.880 bytes free’? Does that mean my files are gone? I have a 1 tb sad in my laptop, and I think I had about 432 gig of free space, so I’m hoping that number indicates that my files are not gone. You say to try system restore if I get zeroes, but I’m terrified to exit the command window or try anything else.

Hey dude, i followed your tutorial. Everything seems fine in the cmd, i pressed exit and it keeps going back to Automatic Repair tab.
