so this is not an afk farm

can't seem to get this one to work either. tried locking the signs with honeycomb and tried using a block above it but the bobber just drops to the bottom of the chest and after a while the rod retracts without catching anything. did it break when 1.20.1 came out?

Great tutorial. If you add some blocks behind the waterlogged chest add a bucket of fish. You will get better rates.

It's more like an semi afk farm. For console players who don't have auto clicker, it's still a great method. You just have to click every few seconds once the fishing rod retrieved but other than that you can just chill.

Make sure your hoppers are connected to your chests. Do this by crouching and then placing the place directly on the chest

So it’s not fully afk without an auto clicker then?

The only thing I think that ends up breaking the items going into the chest has to do with leaving the rail under the minecart

you want to fish until you get a lick of the sea 3 pole then use that (as its more likely to give you books)

And how to afk???

Is there's a hopper minecart under the lava and make sure u placed a sign or button to stop lava flowing down and destroy your minecart
