Fuckin a bois, I was going to add relays and do some soldering before I found out this existed! The cost of 2 relays alone would be similar to this kit, and a bit more work. I'll gladly buy this to support you giving tutorials on which wires to jump. Words cannot describe my distaste to chevy even in 2021 for not making auto fogs when my 99 grand cherokee had them.

Just installed this on my 2008 Chevy Tahoe, works great so far, thank you!

During the daytime with the boost auto parts mirrors switch backs the mirrors would only run the running lights when the fog lights were toggled. After I install this should they continue to run during the day?

This will not affect the operation of the switchback lights during the day. This mod only allows the fog lights to auto-trigger any time the headlights are on (not during the day unless manually commanded)

Could a switch be wired into this kit's wiring so that you could "turn off" this feature if you need your fog lights to return to the factory operation? Say one with about 2-3 feet worth of wiring so the switch could be mounted where the customer chooses. If so, would that switch be something that could be ordered pre-installed by your company?

Are you still able to push the fog button to toggle the fog lights off if for some reason we need to be able to turn them off?

The fog lights cannot be turned off after doing this mod.

Can you guys make a connection like this for my 2008 Yukon to make my footwell ambient LED lights come on when my auto headlights come on at dark time?

Yes, you will just place both modules onto the wires.

Is there a way to just have the Fogs on with low beam but fogs turn off when u switch to high beam?

Would this allow me to run high beams and fogs at same time?

This didn't work for me I have tried watching several times but it isn't working for my 2009 tahoe LT

When park lamps are on can you still manually turn off fogs?

No, with this mod the fog lights will always be on with park lamps. There is no way to override this while the mod is connected.

Would they work with aftermarket fog light

From what it looks like and on the forums this is just a jumper wire from the DRL relay signal wire to the fog light relay signal so it should. They'll just always be on when you parking/DRL lights are on. Alot of guys do this mod as a DIY but if your not comfortable doing it your self then that's why BoostAuto makes this jumper wire kit.
