The way the auto change over for generator and timer on delay works is when it supplies output from the generator, then when 1 phase suddenly turns on, the voltage from 1 phase will be delayed the same time as the timer on delay, after a few seconds it will supply to the output, then the generator contactor will be off, after that we just have to turn off the generator manually.
