hi Corbin I love your shows. I followed your instructions to build the system however in Zapier eventhogh I have ChatGPTPlus (paid version) from the dropdown I can only choose ChatGPT 3.5 do you know why?

Or is it just like one every 15 minutes? 2) It seems like it doesn't really pick up on the 'new file' trigger when the files are super old. ¿have you experience something like that?.

Thank you for the feedback. Regarding the Google Drive function, it will poll every couple of minutes to check for new files in the drive folder. If any new files are found, it will proceed with the automation. Therefore, if there are 5 new files in the folder, it will process each one separately.

is it possible to also use gpt 3.5 or any other free AI tool. Because i tried it wirth gpt 3.5 and its giving me out that there are too much tokens. I already shorted my PDF multplie times and its still not working.

Q1. the ZAP workflows on this video ensures every time when new PDF file(s) are dropped, it will process converting one PDF at a time then add a new record in Google Sheet right? how often does this get completed every min/ few seconds? Q2. I know this video shows processing one PDF file at a time. Do you know is there other way to update this ZAP flows to process multiple PDF files then insert records in Google sheet (i.e., think of it like batch conversion). I was trying to ask this question to chatGPT but no luck configuring this solution yet.

Hey! For the first question, yes, you are correct. This automation will do one PDF at a time and complete it pretty fast, I would say, under 1 minute. Using this strategy, a user could drag and drop multiple PDFs into the folder. For the second question, I would check out this recent video I did on Zapier Central. Wouldn’t a faster way to do this, would be to use OCR software to convert the PDF into text?

The way we convert the PDF to text in this context is a free option for many users. When adding more complexity to this flow, such as receiving the invoice from Stripe in an API call, it can process better.

Would this automation process by the exact same for Make?

What about extracting the line items from an invoice you receive from a vendor? Say we order from a specific vendor that sends us line item invoices, how can we extract the line items, prices, etc per transaction and automated it for every transaction? In Summary I'm struggling to create an In->Out flow of inventory. In would be extracting invoicing line items as they come in from multiple vendors and out would be us manually inputting usage for each customer. Is this a challenge you're willing to accept? (:

Have you tested your solution with multiple designs of invoices? Not all invoices have the same design. For something like this to be usable, the solution will have to be dynamic, in the sense that it can perform the task while accounting for different designs of invoices.

I would make a dedicated flow for the most common invoice formats and have multiple zaps then triggered on sender or other data. But that is just my input. Super valuable.

This can handle all types of invoices because the AI is reading plain text, so it won't take into account the design. If you have a specific invoice for a particular use case, I would suggest creating an automation specific to each invoice design. This will guarantee consistent outputs across the board!

From what I found this can be encountered when using the free account "That error is just what it sounds like - we give paid users' code steps 10 seconds each to execute (free users only get 1 second)."

Hi, great video, but this no longer works. Following the steps exactly and i'm getting this error: While requesting "dev_file" from Google Drive we ran into an error: We could not calculate the length of your file - please pass a knownLength like z.stashFile(f, knownLength) on step 2 when i need to convert pdf to document file.
