While it doesn't sound like they were needed in any of these stories, I couldn't help but wonder how it is so many people venture into the wilderness and are not strapped. I know I would have felt much better with an equalizer had I been in any of these situations.

I always carry something to protect me. I don’t worry about cryptids. Never have - yet. But I do carry all the time. “Lions and tigers and bears - (and an occasional moose) oh my.” I have been “false” charged by bears before. Scary. It may be a false of security, but still, makes me feel better. I live in S.E. Alaska.

No you’re dog was not picking up your anxiety, Chester was warning you, trying to get you moving to safety. We should never ignore our guts warnings. The minute you start to feel this, look at your dog’s behavior of unease especially if they begin to tug at their leash to go back. Dogs sense danger way before we do, always listen to them and don’t ignore them or your gut telling something isn’t right. P. S. I’d find another place to walk my dog if I were you. It is still out there and to dangerous to continue on that path.

I have noticed that a lot of this business occurs at night. When day comes it goes away. It seems dæmonic to me. Sasquatch however is seen in the daylight hours. The women in the Los Padres National Forest ask why; I give the answer to torment people who may not have faith in Jesus.

Them critters never charge. What is there to be afraid of? Amazingly, another one lived to tell the story. Her little dog too. Don’t misunderstand me. I love the stories. Keep’m coming. I only hope if I am confronted by one of these critters on one of my strolls through the woods; it will also turn away. But it would also keep me from living so close to the forests.

This sounds weird but maybe these things are here to protect some people or something. Not saying they all are good or bad. But maybe we shouldn't fear these things. I don't know but i walk with the lord and he tells me not to fear. Easier said than done but it makes me wonder. Im sure in person if i saw anything strange id be running for the hills but like i said i wonder.
