How long is the warranty on tool and what country was it made in. Im looking into buying one but some i see warranty 1 year and some 5 years.

Were your new TPMS sensors Autel brand sensors? I’ve seen comments/reviews that this will only program Autel sensors. Do you know anything about that? Thanks for the heads up on the registration process and Wi-Fi issues.

To program the sensor itself they need to be Autel MX TPMS sensors, the tool can read almost any TPMS sensor to log the serial number assigned to each TPMS sensor. The sensors that came in my aftermarket rims were not Autel MX they were another brand that already have a serial number. The Autel TPMS tool recorded each sensor serial number and then I was able to write the serial numbers to the ECU using the OBDII port. It was a quick and seamless process. The TS508WF will walk you through each step and it only takes maybe 10 minutes at most, once you lean how to do it you could drop that time down to about 4 to 5 minutes.

Autel advertises that their TPMS Tools have to be returned to them for battery replacement. If the battery replacement is done by others (oneself), then the Warranty is voided.

Do u need internet connection to activate or use it? or can u use it fully offline?

You use it offline. When it is time to update the sensors in the ECU you connect it to the OBDII port and it updates the ECU.
