Autel Maxicheck MX900 Intro
A new thing to help me figure out what's going on with the various vehicles in the family (and probably others). But I need some help on showing the things you'd like to see...

What is the difference between mk900 and maxsys 906bt
Excited to see the next video! I am a lower level technician interested in getting into diagnostic work, my tool truck rep told me about the mx900. I wanted to research it and you're video came up. I have an inovo scanner, I think its more basic than the one you show here, but I am very curious to see what its capabilities are compared to the mx900. Definitely gonna check out your other videos! Keep it up!

I'm going to try to get up to speed over the holidays. I do have some first-setup videos, but realized I needed to get more familiar with the tool before doing "how it is used" content
Cool video, I just ordered one myself. I am very much in your spot (home garage use). I plan to use it to start diagnosing any faulty modules on a GMC Denali. I'd be curious of what features you find the most useful/most frequently used. It was hard to find this model in stock (from an authorized dealer) so I am not yet fully educated on its capabilities yet. Keep the videos coming!

Thanks! I have to admit there's a bit of a learning curve here, and I need to get back to it.
How do you turn up the volume or it doesn’t have a speaker

I legit haven't even thought about it. I'm packing to move, so won't be able to check for a while, but my guess would be it's in the settings gear that's on pretty much every screen (if there is a speaker).
I was wondering how the tablet is performing for you after all these months? It still seems to be the same boat as you mentioned; lots of people talking about Autel, but almost nothing on the MX90 specifically, which they seem to (I think) be touting as their main "General Use" tablet. It's listed as a direct upgrade to their MX808, which people have sung the praises about, but supposedly does a hell of a lot more. Mostly I am curious if the MX900 is one of those tablets that requires some sort of internet connection (or God forbid, a subscription) just to have the tool function. Because in my search for diagnostic tablet (of which there is a vast desert of information regarding), I've narrowed it down to two; this one, and the Icon T8 they came out with earlier this year. The T8 does not require internet connection or any subscription to work, which would be a deal-breaker by default if the MX900 did.

Honestly, I haven't used it - life has been a little crazy and I was a bit overwhelmed with the learning curve on the Autel. A non-technician like me might be better with something a little more guided and consumer-oriented like the the Innova 7111. I'm going to re-dedicate myself to figuring it out soon though (things should calm down a bit in April)

@@themessygarageI know that feeling, this year has felt like pure hell so far and there's just no time for anything . . .
Hello brother. I would like to see the initial setup of the scanner prior to using it on a vehicle. I ordered one, and if you can guide us on what needs to happen before plugging it into a vehicle, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

I actually shot a lot of that, but it seemed a little disjointed and very long. Then I started trying to read codes on my cars, but clearly I needed to understand how things worked a bit better, so they were start-and-stop, and I wasn't sure it would make a coherent video. Setup was a relatively simple - charge, connect to WiFi, set up an account and then run through updates for the operating system and car modules. Not too bad. I'll have to see if I have the setup stuff still, and will see if I can put them together.
An Actron CP9690 has graphing and special tests checks misfires.
Over Half the video spent on other tools. Waste of my time

Hi - I really appreciate the feedback. I've just added chapters to the video so people can see what's covered and jump. I was mainly trying to cover what brought me to the point of buying something at this level.
