Whenever I’m thinking about buying a drone I always look for your review on it because you do go over every inch of it. Don’t change anything. There are tons of quick snappy entertaining vids out there if someone wants that.

Agreed! I feel the same way. I do a search on a drone hoping and looking for Dustin's name. The other guys are too vague, or hype, or annoying, or trying to be funny, or just doing too much with the whole KZread personality thing.

Always top-notch reviews from Dustin on the products he reviews! The Autel looks like it is more refined in design and quality with a lot of thought put into it's engineering. The pumpkin orange color is a trademark for Autel and it is real easy to see. The EVO is pretty impressive and can't wait to see further tests, thanks for the review.

hehe! It does look nice! I think I want one because as much as I love my XSP it's simply too bulky for my needs anymore.

Excellent unboxing and review of setup. It looks like Autel has done a good job of keeping the initial setup process streamline and fairly intuitive.

I bought a MP after watching Dustin's vids. Had the MP for nearly 2 years, and after putting it into a river, bought the Evo! Best drone reviewer by far.

Great to see you reviewing the EVO as I trust your reviews. I was leaning towards a Mavic Air but I saw so many complaints about the NOISE and of course that pesky geo fence. Looking forward to EVO flight review. 🦄

Interesting and detailed as always. It looks great, seems user-friendly and has some innovative tech. The real test will be how it functions in the air and I hope it lives up to the 1st impressions. The 8x zoom will have the "it's spying on me" brigade frothing at the mouth :D

Great review as usual Dustin, I had been waiting (and figuring that you would do a review at some point) for your review. I am seriously contemplating getting this drone so I will anxiously wait for the next video(s). I had heard/saw from other videos that there is a gimbal tilt issue with some Evo's, hopefully this problem will be fixed with updates. I also wish Autel would release an update that would allow someone to live stream from their phone, maybe you can mention that and they will listen!!

You're the best reviewer I know on KZread. This drone seems to be worth a serious serious thought. I am totally uncertain what my future drone will be. Mavic Air, Anafi, AUTEL EVO? And honestly, I have no idea!

marcelovhm1 price point on the Anafi is too high for not having any collision avoidance sensors. My Hubsan 501 doesn't have them either, but price point makes up for that, IMO.

The 4 things I love are.. 1) It's Android Compatible 2) There is No Geo Fence 3) Great U.S. customer service 4) The controller has a built in dispaly I'd go with the Evo. Done.

being a former mavic pro owner, I think this evo looks great! I think I'll wait to get their soon to be released 1" camera sensor version though. If for no other reason, the evo is better because it doesn't have geofencing limitations. Great unboxing. Thanks!

Please do a detailed comparison of all the functions & features to the Mavic Pro since this EVO seems to be it's main competition. It'll also help us decide if the extra cost is worth the purchase. Btw well done video, you have a good speaking flow to how you communicate your thoughts on video... there's not much of repeating yourself or stalling for a better word. You're a natural speaker in other words.

Very thorough. Perhaps if the unboxing and setup were seperate videos, it would be easier to digest all of the info.

I have the Autel Xstar for two years now. Its great! Only had 2 updates in 2 years. Comes with 64gb memory card and 4 extra props. So im surprised Evo only has 2 spare props and 32gb memory card. I've never used that much space anyways cause i transfer vids to computer so thats moot point. Evo settings are pretty much the same as Xstar which is good so is user friendly from each. Only downside is I'm used to using a ten inch tablet so would have to adjust with the Evo. I think Autel is a great company and customer support is great. Thank you for this very informative video. Will subcribe so as to not miss out on the Evo flight test. 👍👍P. S. Flight time for the Xstar Premium is 24 minutes with 4900 mah, 14.5v battery. Just for comparison

This one seems to be taking a lot of the best features of the Pro and Air. It has the flight time and range of a Pro Platinum and it is smaller than the Pro. Plus if I'm understanding this correctly it gives you a 5.8ghz FPV screen built into the controller without using your phone. That is something I really like about my Hubsan h501s Advanced. No updates to do no extra preflight time spent syncing up the phone. I will be watching this one closely.

quite sure its not 5.8ghz since the drone only communicates on the 2.4ghz band? It was said to use the 900mhz band as well (which would be awesome for range and stability) but they dropped it due to laws in Europe I believe. So the 4miles range is most likely questionable as well, but who knows. There is very little info in regards to this so thats why I'm sceptical. However I own a Mavic Pro and I don''t know why its itching so badly to buy this and try something other than a DJI drone. Ive had the P3A (which crashed due to battery error mid flight) Mavic Air (which had a lot of connectivity issues) And now the Mavic Pro (which almost always gives me an IMU error at first but then a restart fixes the issue, and some gimbal issues with some slight drifting some times and calibration mid air which makes my heart stop). IMO the drones, especially the Mavic Pro, has been great but with tiny errors, thats why Im pretty open to try a new drone since I know not even DJI products are perfect. As long as the drone does not fall drop dead from the sky or drifts away on its own (failing RTH as well) Im happy.

Hello Dustin, Not sure but i think it does not have rear optical avoidance. I think its just rear obstacle warning .Great unboxing review. I just subscribed!

Apparently it will stop for obstacles in rear only in beginner mode. My flight test is up check it out 👍

Hello Dustin great Channel and always very informative reviews I think the antennas on the controller do click it’s just you folded them the opposite way if you put the right one first and then the left I believe they would click or just sit in better. Please let me know if they do click when you fold them the other way around. Thank you

I called them up Tuesday and asked. They told me extra batteries were available that same day. So i placed an order before they go out of stock.

Hi Dustin, great reviews! Keep up the good work. Love how you go through everything in fine detail. Don’t change anything. There are loads out there that wizzes through and skits around the outside not giving us viewers enough info to make an informed decision if we were wanting to make a purchase. I always look for your vids first before anyone else’s. I am in the market for my first pro Drone. For me so far based on your reviews it’s either the Mavic Air Fly More Combo or this Evo right here. However for me being in the UK just outside of London I have a slight issue in the fact that Autel Robotics do not have a proper distribution set up in Europe yet so spare parts are tricky to get hold of. Saying that I really do like this Evo. 🤔

You owe it to yourself and your viewers to do a new update, so many issues have been fixed since your first review. Also no pesky geo fencing and constant updates like other companies, plus I hear service is excellent. Also there is a special travel bundle on sale right now that no other company can beat !

The Autel Robotics firmware, along with Parrot, is superior to DJI Go app. Also the Evo had a zoom lens long before the latest and more expensive Magic 2 Zoom was released. My next drone purchase will be the Evo.

Cnt wait to see this bird in the air lol, please hurry and upload flight review lol

you do have 3 pairs of props you mentioned in the manual 2 pairs on the aircraft and one set extra
