@@808-Stat3 Well, Just as an FYI. I was not going to buy one as well but Original Dobo gave me the Nano Plus as a gift. I had some issues with it at first but after a few updates it fly´s allot better.

@@808-Stat3 it’s is worth it, the camera is amazing! I’ve had some issues since I got one of the first units, but I can almost get the same quality as the EVO pro in 4K 30. I wanted it because I travel a lot for work and want to take it with me to other countries. I have a DJI Mini2 which I love, but the EVO Nano’s camera it’s amazing!

Thanks Andy! I got mine set up yesterday. I had a problem doing the firmware update. For some reason it wouldn’t work until I turned off WiFi. I’m not sure why that would have mattered, but that’s what I had to do. And like you, there is no manual update available, despite what Autel says. So far the only thing I don’t like is the gimbal cover. It’s not easy getting it back on. Have fun, and thanks again….

@@808-Stat3 Question for you about the Evo 2 Pro: have you had any problems with the dynamic or tripod tracking functions with the latest software? I could not get mine to keep lock on a small quadski either on the water or up on land during a recent event for work.

@@808-Stat3 Yep, that's what I ended up doing and it went well. Just curious why it would not even stay locked on for even 1 second.

Got a Evo Lite +, can't say I'm very impressed at all with it thus far. So many bugs and features that do not work. For the record I have had several DJI Drones starting with the Vision 2, Phantom 3 Pro Phantom 4 Pro Phantom 4 Obsidian, Mavic, Mavic 2, Spark and Mavic Air. Using IOS device on this Autel, I can't say that tech support at Autel has been helpful. One day out of the box and their solution is to send it in for evaluation. Sorry for the rant but I'm just trying to diagnose the issue. Great video btw. Thanks for posting!

Yes AUTEL has been on its way down for a while now. I wasn't a huge fan of the lite+ either. No big innovation or improvements either over the Evo2Pro

I didn't know it was there either until I accidentally tapped it. Now I knew it takes pics during Video :D

Just flew my EVO 2 PRO two days ago and still love it. But I can see how AUTEL approve with the LITE Plus version being it not jerky, And I like the smaller size from the PRO Version but not too small. I have this on my want list as my second drone. Now if and when AUTEL brings out EVO 3 PRO, I'm sure it going to be something like the Lite Version as far the smoothness and style goes. And I'll more likely buy it as well.

Totally agree. This Drone is well worth it's price.

Congrats! I'd choose this over the Mavic 3 for price, quality of camera, smoothness, no geofence, and it even grabs sat lock in under 10 minutes! I do like the flight stability of the M3 though and the M3 camera is 95% good. You made a wise choice IMHO. Now your 9k mile E2P can take a breather!

I use the Skyfire Aerial Controller Mount with a Tripltek8Pro Setup. Or Tripltek7Pro whichever one I am using at the time while having the Evo2Pro and Evo Lite+ ready to fly

Great video! Would you recommend this for a 1rst Drone for someone with 0 experience flying? Would it be very hard to learn on it? I figure since it has obstacle avoidance, it will help with my inexperience & keep me from crashing it!

If u can afford it it would be a great first drone. If u want something cheaper I would recommend the dji mini2 . Besides that obstacle avoidance shouldn't be the reason for a first drone. There are steps in Learning how to fly and as you gradually advance and get better you will see u actually turn OFF obstacle avoidance lol

@@808-Stat3 Thanks for responding to my question. Yeah I've been saving up while checking out reviews of different drones. I'm leaning more towards Autel than DJI because of the Geo fencing and generally more price friendly. I am into video/photography, so I want a capable drone for this; and was thinking of the Evo 2 Pro, but it is $2700 for the fly more combo, compared to $1850 for the fly more Lite+ combo; and looking @ the reviews, the footage is pretty comparable, and even edges out the Pro in night mode. Not being a Drone Expert, for what I need it for, that almost $1000 savings looks pretty good! THANKS again!

@@808-Stat3 just got my Evo Lite today, and it’s great. Still haven’t found a way to manually update the firmware by downloading it onto the SD card. Website just says download it from website but firmware download are no where to be found, unless it is on a very non-obvious place.

What is mounted onto your controller.. looks cool.. mine did not come with that.. does Autel sell that?

two questions, one, do these drones typically drift alot, and if so how can I correct that.... My drone drifts badly when moving forward... Also seems like the sensors stop the drone way to far out... is there a way to adjust that without just turning off the sensors

At some point autel had a program to download for pc to hook up the drone and calibrate the sensors. Drifting seems slightly normal BUT if it's too intense i would recalibrate imu and compass to make sure. I had drifting issues and calibrated my IMU . It fixed it for a lil bit but then came back. If u still have warranty I would open a case if the issue persists

There is an app from autel that allows sensor calibration. So far I have never had to use it in the 3 years I've flown any of my autel drones.

That knife would come in handy with da damn pigs we got now.

I use the Samsung evo series . Tried v90s and all that stupid hype. No difference. Samsung evo select works for me 128gb class 10 v30. Nuff

The Lite+ and Mavic3 are very similar to each other, yet after being next to my buddy the Lite+ is a tad bit quieter than the Air2S .

@7:21, I am quite certain my friend that the Evo Lite will not charge via USB-C port, sadly.

@@808-Stat3 I think it was only showing “disconnected” in the Autel Explorer app., not the Sky app. It’s working now through the Sky app.

If you look within ur general options you can select to turn it on and off. Also make sure that the volume on ur device is turned up.

@@808-Stat3 I have the following: Evo Lite+ Aircraft firmware version V1.8.3 App firmware version V1.4.54 My 'Voiceovers' button is located at: 'SAFETY' scroll all the way down to the bottom then 'ADVANCED SETTINGS' last item is 'Voiceovers' button. I do not have the 'General' settings page you referred to.

It kind of was a pain in the asshole.
