This is what the Egyptians listened to when they built the pyramids.

This song has such angular (I mean that in a good way) beats that they made all the angles for the base and triangles with this.

That's actually not true due to chaos theory? This is what happened when the Egyptians built the pyramids.

You can tell it's Autechre when the comments aren't all meme copypastas.

The jittery knocking sound at end reminds me of the clacking jaw cenobite from Hellraiser

This is strange...I write music and have enjoyed electronic music for over a decade but this pushes me more than apex twin which, at times, is noisey enough! This is on another level...I will keep coming back to it but it's certainly not as accessible as the stuff I normally listen to. I'm sure it's just me needing to understand the timings more and the shape of the tune but man...only thing I can compare it to is that oneohnotrix guy...not that I typed that right!

i agree with tangente00. the context of how autechre have evolved makes it easier to 'get'. I remember first listening to Quaristice they made which was in 2008 and was just like 'eh?' but now because i've listened to more autechre, quaristice is my favourite. If you like Aphex you might enjoy Amber (1994) by autechre quite a bit. I started with Draft 7.30 (2003) which was their first album i got into and i've just listened to other albums from there.

Each half-time "drums" just slightly change up their tone every damn time. And the arrangement of the various drum patterns change up in a vary humanizing way; not something that most techno artists are very good at. This style is a lost art today, and good job with keeping that up Autechre! I am feeling a light to decent 9 on this thing. Tran... (stole it from Theneedledrop.)
