I was pissed at first, it was just a hard tug and didn't feel any head shakes, but it worked out in the end :)

That hurts losing fish on a slow day like you said. I see those pesky birds are there. Man...they even going after the fish when u are fighting them. Some nice Salmon u were getting on Larry! looks like the day heated up for you. Maybe bring several rocks/stones with you. After you catch a fish throw the rock let the bird chase that then throw the fish in 🤔

I heard its been slow and bit surprised the fishing has been so good this month over here, its getting cold.

Seems to be lots of salmon around Merimbula and Eden, you should try some metal lures next time

@@LarrysFishing definitely give it a try I find the halco twisty works the best (15gram) not to expensive and they are easy to use just cast out as far as you can and a quick retrieve. Dose the job for me 👍
