Not here to knock anyone but just a safety tip I've learnt from the outback ,holding the inside line close to the broken line is safer then hugging the outside, especially dusk n dawn ,...them crazy kangaroos, cows and yea even emus spring out
A real trip down memory lane - Thanks. Did a 2yr trip around Oz over 30 years ago on my XR600 and had forgotten what it felt like. Vibrations, sound of the bike, your own shadow following, little adventures and cruising into small towns after loooong days. Spent 5 days in the Simpson navigating with a compass. Would make a good KZread adventure!

Gday mate, I’m 64 years young. I survived cancer going on 11 years now. I’m going on a solo ride to the Bourke & Wills Dig Tree near innamincka this July 8th’22. I have done adventure rides with my son too so I get how important this ride was for you. I know your dad is proud of how you’re living your life. Only a father knows a good son is better than Gold. You are just that. Blessings mate

Well done! Subscribed. Love your channel. You are mostly responsible for my purchace of a used DR-Z400. Thanks. I started out wanting the DR-650 but wanted a lighter weight. Everyone talks about how tough both bikes are but you really prove that DR-Z can get it done! If it can haul your big ass across a desert it's good enough for my 180lb(81kg) ass. It rocks the way you work with what you have in that tiny garage and wrench on your own bike. Your right about if you cant fix it in your own garage you don't stand a chance in the outback. Keep those videos coming!
