Great improvement. I avoided the one man ration packs from the 1967-87 period. Being in vechicles we used the 10 man RP. I would be happy with this.

Yup I do that with Vegemite as well add some to stew or soups. That bread is the best. OMG A CR1M chocolate bar that isn't completely white. The ration looks amazing thanks for a great review.

The squirts? LOL!! It's amazing that you used that term.back when I was a little boy and I would get diarrhea I would walk up to my mom and say "Mama I've got the squirts".

I'm an Australian army cadet and with out muesli we put in milk powder, sweetened condenced milk and chocolate powder and it taste great, you should try it. Awesome videos mate

I got to tell you ol mate, Australian MRE beat the heck out of any American MRE I've ever encountered. The day I open an American MRE and find a tube of sweetened condensed milk, you're going to have to scrape me off the ceiling!

Good luck mate. I think they have all the main components, however the mains have been swapped with US MRE mains due to the whole US Government issues.

Would live to get my paws on a CR1M but with new enforcement policies US customs would be yanking the mains from the ration

Think it is just different. Would love to try a SANDF one myself. Guess there are only so many changes that you can make when it is a full 24hour ration. Always love watching your reviews of the SANDF ones.

Happy Independance Day Mate. Lamb certainly isn't my go to meat as not the biggest fan of it's taste, but the curry made it surprisingly enjoyable. Think Beef or Chicken would be perfect in it though... Beef would be my favourite for it.

Nice review, good to see the classic CR1M. I only just noticed this but how do you get your international rations past Australian customs? Last time I tried getting one in it came through with the ration opened and a majority of the items gone, curious to know the methods to get one into Australia. Cheers

Great video mate. I don't think you need any additional sugar with that condensed milk, perhaps why so few packets in there now. Wish they'd put Marmite in our rat packs...vegemite a decent alternative...just! :-)

Sustagen Hospital is meant for people who really can't take solid food. Look at the packet, though. It's 50% sugar!

Can I assume Dat the ration is halal? If not den it's a waste to include halal entree in non halal ration

Not sure to be honest, but there are quite a few Halal items in it. Think it is more the company that makes them than a request from the ADF.

Very cool Mate. I have to get Btemples, type G, up. I catch up on watching, and , doing reviews, life makes me behind again, LOL. Lovely amount of food, and, various types you have !! Your ration, your review mate! Add what and when you wish. Sugar before coffee, or Lunch for Breakfast. Syrup on Musli, good call Mate. The FRED, is bigger than, our P-38, but at times, difficult to use. I still love the Pate spoon part. Thank you Foreignmre.com. I open, Btemples, ration , I shall have another. Maybe make A gift as well. Bread, excellent, Very little Bloom, on Chocolate, my opinion. Cheese, excellent. Fruit bar, Werthers, Excellent. Ketchup, I use, only on just A few items, here at home. However, when I eat those items, I require it immensely! LOL. Bread and main, compliment each other, greatly! Nice combination. Soup, tea, awesome. Some versions, of, the protein drinks, have, slightly too much texture for me? Yours friend, hard to tell. Tastes, rarely affect me, textures at times, do however. I know, it is there for A purpose, and, I accept sir. On rare occasion, rare, that is, I crave instant mashed potatoes, over real. Like ketchup, when I want, I do want, instant? LOL. Main had more, Yellow Curry, than Red. I , love both, although, different flavor profiles. Potatoes , and , curry, how I would do. We do same with meat and potato dishes, here in the states. The soup, thickened nicely. Looked great. Here, state side, Tabasco, is, not exactly what we call A hot sauce. We have hot sauce, as well, Hundreds, Some named, well, censored, but Crap the Bed, Burning Testicles, and, other , ingenious names. , give heat, without flavor. I do not mind, A little heat, just , want flavor, to accommodate. Mix A little Tabasco, for, flavor, not just for heat? That is, if you like an occasional, vinegar taste? Lower Scoville units, but, has flavor. Better than the Atomic style sauces? You do get flavor, just, go light, to start friend. You dong, an Aussie ration, I take, try to compare to here? I have , been, off of my game, due to life in general. As you well know, we all get sidetracked by life. I am behind, saw your review, I got back, to my long winded self sir !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry, or, grateful, you let me speak as I once used to????? This review, allowed me, to vocalize, once again. If I talked too much, sincere apologies friend.
