And to think that he stayed fit, fine, fast, and furious throughout all these high intensity clashes, is unbelieveable. Being an Indian fan myself, 2023 was another year of heartbreaks, but now I am enjoying someone getting HUMILIATED in a country where India has won the last 2 series.

Pakistan bowled well, fielded well, and only a few wickets stopped it being 100% their day. The catch from Rizwan was brilliant off wrong foot. Masood looked so classy and comfortable, he is starting to enjoy batting on faster Australia pitches. Shafique has a solid technique that should stand up to different conditions around the world. Those Aust seamers are so good.

Someone above put stats and he has only scored 1 century in Aus, Eng, NZ and SA and averages just 37 away from home. Shafique must be on a roller coaster of emotion. But that is what test cricket does. One day you want to find a hole in the outfield and jump into it after dropping that dolly catch, then the next day you bat extremely well. Its a beautiful thing...young man is earning respect the hard way against a very good team. Good on him 👍
