They offered her a guaranteed audition with the judges and producers, plus a meeting with a 'story editor'. She didn't want to go on the show so turned them down. Alana is great. I love this song and she sings it so beautifully. Her harp is splendid! I came to know her just a few days ago through the song "Fields of Gold" (Yes, Eva Cassidy) and didn't know she participated in "Australia's Got Talent" in 2010. I don't understand why she didn't win ... But winners not always make it in the end, and I'm sure Alana will have a bright future.

Alana has to be the unluckiest person to miss the grand final. Was in the most competitive semi-final and was clearly better than Taylor & Cameron H. Her voice was unbelievable, as good, if not better than anyone in competition and she played the harp as well. The performance was just heavenly and flawless. Just divine! The harp, choice of angels through time. By the way, my favourite music is heavy rock and I still think this was one of the best performances I have ever seen.

The problem is....Who is going to performance at her weding ceremony? Nobody could do it better.

She has a nice voice, but as a seasoned harpist, I find her technique to be severely lacking. If you'd like to see some real harp technique, look up Judy Loman or Alice Giles.

Try tuning a piano.

too much vibrato in her voice. she should cut it down to half or more, and she would sound much better. the trembling voice is something of the past. just doesnt sound good...if it ever did.
