The TV series Friday Night Lights-it was preceded by a book and movie-takes place in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas, where high-school football is a life-encompassing pursuit. But even those completely uninterested in sports can find something to love in the series, which is currently airing its fifth and final season.

If you ever played high school football, or were close to someone who did , then I ask you how could you not love this show? I watched all five seasons, and I gotta say, for me, the last 2 seasons were the best!!

Season 1 season 4 and season 5 for me !! Season 1 being the best !
I was there when they filmed had a basketball game and had no idea it was for Friday night lights at the time lol
This theme song just ROCKS. And I love the general idea of this series. I haven't even seen a single episode of this TV show and still enjoyed it. Keep it comin' !

Did you end up watching?
The first three seasons had much of the filming done in the Pflugerville High School facility. FNL even borrowed the P-ville colors and uniforms. The East Dillon scenes were filmed in Del Valle just outside of Austin. All in all, a very believable TV show with great characters. Connie and Kyle were superb on screen.
Went to school here when my Dad was stationed at Bergstrom AFB. Had no idea FNL was filmed here!
I went to the school there in real life, it looks like nothing like that now :)

I go to school there now and they use a whole different field for all the games so, that's great

I went to school there as well. It's cool to see the inside of the field house again.

I would like to see more Inventory!
Pronounced Del Val ! Texas has some weird pronunciations compared to the rest of the country. Awesome video!
did the FNL filming locations tour this weekend. Sad the Seracen house is no longer there. Ray's BBQ is now a tire shop. Amamo Freeze (DQ) has been updated. Always cool to see filming locations.

@@nosir1440 yes, it's a Dairy Queen and it's been updated so it doesn't look like the show set. They have some photos on the wall.

@@nosir1440 Let me think. Other than the locations listed above we drove by the strip club (The Landing Strip) by accident but there it was. Saw Coach Taylor house, Riggins house, two football fields, the panther clubhouse. We even drove out and found the location where Riggins was dreaming of building his Texas Forever home. Little tricky to find but we managed and it was at sunset, so that was fun. I think that pretty much sums it up.
