You ACT like "Swing Pass Joe " , learns ? Over 20 + years of this play calling ! Put on a OLD film , when HE was with the Loins & You'll still see this types of calls ! ALL [ NFL ] teams knows this too !

What’s so frustrating to me is that if he played on a more nationally televised team like the Cowboys or Buccaneers he would have like 4 prowbowls by this point and he considered a future Hall of Famer

We still need someone to "complement" him. The team needs another Melvin Gordon that doesn't fumble at the one yard line everytime.

Firstly - I gotta say that Eckler has been having some great, longer runs this year, like in that Cleveland game. Sure, the Chargers running game has been underperforming generally - but Eckler has been a bright spot in it... The problem it seems is at the #2 RB position...where Justin Jackson had been doing a great job, for the last several years. Consistently, he'd been getting the longest runs from scrimmage, every year, maintaining a high YPC average, and he caught and ran well, in the passing game - not to mention being a good "team-guy" who blocked and played on Special Teams. And Justin was a BARGAIN. HOW MUCH are we paying Sony Michel? If we had a highlight reel for him, it would be REAL SHORT. Meanwhile, we sent a poor message about how we treat good players - by failing to make a(ny) fair offer to JJ as a Free Agent. Now he's running kicks in Detroit, and occasionally being a back-up RB, on their deep running unit. It's kind of a shame, that our best #2 is our Fullback, Horvath. Since that's the case - we should use more 2 back plays - to get him the ball more, and also get blocking down field, and out front, for Austin.

No, the PROBLEM is the DEFENSES VRS us put 8 to 9 players up at OR around the box area ! Play calling OR the LACK of play calling [ JOEY ] going into the 2nk year ! Swing passes - 5 to 5 yards at the line is WHY this is happing . They are NOT worried about a 20 yard pass , MUCH , any more with our WEAK arm QB .

Staley and Lombardi and Talesco will waste this very Talented team. Smh! Time for a shake up! Bring in winning record experienced personnel to help elevate this talented team. And use that beautiful shield horse logo on the white helmets because the true meaning of the Chargers name is a horse charging into battle and use the Navy/Royal Blue-ish color on the Jerseys with white numbers and Gold/Yellow-ish outline trim. Da Da Dah Dah Da Charge!⚡️🐴🏈
