Austin paid him several thousand dollar to do that. Tim is a shrewd businessman and Austin just plain desperate. No. From what I've seen, all of Home Free are just damn good people, and Tim would have worn it without being asked, just because that's what a friend does.

I love good harmony. No one is striving to upstage or stand out. This is an example of the whole being greater than its individual parts. Love your collaborations!!

😄😄😄Hadn't seen/heard Tim before - Whoa, what a voice! Had to look close to watch the sound actually come out of his mouth. Song took me back to my high-school days - early 70s. Had no idea Brooks & Dunn had covered it.

I don’t know who’s voice I love more. Brown’s voice is awesome. Tim’s voice is awesome. The guitarist voice was awesome.

Right. They have mastered the material - insane practice and talent and can just nail it. This might be take one after hours of rehearsal or take 25. They just have the stamina to work it until it works. Or if they didn't and this went over in 1 or 2 takes, then it was the years of prep before. Either way, on the first or 25th take, the joy radiates.

I just came across this video. Absolutely loved. Many, many years back when my daughter was about 2 I would hold here and dance in my living room to the Brroks and Dunn version. She would lagugh as we would spin around, and say " more daddy." Memories that will last forever. Shes grown now. When we have the chance we still dance to that song.

Chris Chatham is very talented, both vocally and with that guitar. Thanks for introducing him to us.

These guys have all used the pandemic to their advantage. I think they've gotten stronger both in their personal music and within Home Free. The fact that they've kept their noses to the grindstone and stayed active and interactive with their fans is a tribute to their work ethic and shows that they care about their fanbase. I fully expected Austin to do the high note in the chorus, but to hear one of the lowest voices in music hit that high note shocked the stuffing out of me. Very well done. Brooks & Dunn are up there on my favorites in country music and My Maria is one of there bests. Austin and Tim fully rocked this.

I absolutely LOVE this version of the song, especially the fact that we get to hear how nuts tim's vocal range can be. he can sing four and a half octaves, which to me is incredible. :D

Agreed, but take a look at Dimash sometime if you haven't seen him. He literally sings notes off the top of the piano. I don't know what his range is, but I'm guessing at least seven.

@@super_siri No Dimash is 7 Octaves now. He was six Octaves and some notes, but now he's seven Octaves and one Note or Semi note.

Ronnie Dunn has one of the most iconic voices of country music. Not many can pull off this song and live up to the Brooks and Dunn version, but you all were able to pull it off. This is from a Gen X'er who came of age during the explosion of Brooks and Dunn onto the music scene. Well done. Edited to add that i was waiting tables way back in the early 90's and I had the privilege of serving Brooks and Dunn. I had a second job where i worked for a University food service and I helped cater a BBQ that the university put on for the DUO. They played at the University, but I was too poor to buy tickets 😂😂. I did have my picture taken with Brooks and Dunn, but somewhere in my multiple moves, I have lost that picture. There wasn't any sort of digital pictures back then and i didn't have the negatives, so, it is just lost. Brooks and Dunn were very gracious and hadn't hit the really big time yet. I want to say their big hit Boot Scootin Boogie came out soon after than event, but i already knew who they were before that song came out. Their song Hubands and Wives is one I think you could do a great cover for.

This is sheer talent. And happiness. And, for me, happiness is the only reason to listen to music!

As the Beatles once said: "We'll get by with a little help from my friends." World class music and world class friendship. It doesn't get any better than this!

Ooh. Tim and Austin always sound beautiful together! Cant wait to hear this!!

As a Bass Baritone myself, I can tell you that Tim had a ton of fun singing this one. There's something very refreshing about crawling out of the basement and putting some horse power behind a good solid note in head voice once in awhile. Great tune!

Listen to this almost everyday. Love it!
