Red, I’m a 71 year old retired oil field trucker and biker and this song always makes my eyes leak but Austin’s rendition hit me in my feels like few performances do.

A beautiful song sung by a beautiful voice!!

Last year I lost my mom the day before Mother's Day to cancer. It took me awhile before I could face HF's Go Rest High on That Mountain again. Watching your reaction and feeling Austin's intensity in this song brought back those precious beautiful memories and feelings. Thank you for sharing your journey. Big hugs!

And Austin just announced he was leaving Home Free after the 2024 concert tour. This is almost as huge as Avi leaving Pentatonix almost 7 years ago.

The first time I heard him sing this song, he sang it with such feeling that I wondered if he had a personal experience that made it easier to put the feeling into it. Then I just realized he is just that talented. WOW!!! I cried buckets of tears the first time and still fight them.

Austin was very close to his grandmother who went heaven a few years ago. He wrote a beautiful song,Warmest Winter, about Christmas without her. It's a beautiful tear jerker. Tears show emotion and nothing to be ashamed of at all. Hugs Red.

This is such a great rendition of Eric Clapton's song about the tragic loss of his son. I think anyone who's ever lost a loved one can identify with it. Sebastien's keyboard skills are masterful & Austin's vocals are always terrific. His leaving HF makes me think of The Seekers song "I know I'll Never find another you".

This is the one solo that I cannot let myself hear too often -- it defeats my state of denial and brings me down. I think Austin did a very nice version of this song. But I really like Eric Clapton's unplugged version of this song with a little bit faster pace. And it is a more personal song for him with the history behind it after losing a child.

This is a song that other people should not cover, no matter how pretty their voice is///

It isn't happening immediately, and it is very amicable. Some of us sorta saw it coming. He has been stretching his wings, and we could see he was ready to "leave the nest" and strike out on his own solo career. We are excited and hope he is a great success.

You have us you can lean on now, I hope you know that. I lost my last parent 7 months ago and I still have bad days. Especially helping my son cope with it.
