Matter of individual taste is like having a like or dislike for a singer. It can not be argued over, personal taste.

Ironic boots that will never see a days hard yaka. Make sure they are all slip on as those buying them cannot tie laces.

Also Those Look Like Frye mid Elastic Ropper Boot From 50 Years Ago

I am Italian, being in Australia for 7 years and I own 2 pairs of RMs, a craftsman and a lace up Rickaby... As a Cobbler myself it saddens me to see RM Williams coming out with what is basically a glued on cup sole boot, especially at that price. It's a disgrace

Just like their clothes made in china with a huge price tag you can go to Target or Kmart and get the same shirt for about $15 compared to over a hundred dollars

Lower the cost, higher the profit will be. However, many brands have disregarded (or took risk of loss of) customers. Some will have paid through this, others probably changed brands as many firms have elected China for dirt cheap production. Reality in economics of business at their peril.

'Common man' also have their passion for say high priced vehicles, brand watches or pricey leather jackets --although they are saddled with high mortgages and low pay--. Many would not be rich enough not to buy inexpensive, say over each year or so @ cheap prices. Owners of RMs will insist that their boots are best by none, with high level attachment to them.

The reason I buy RM boots in UK is the ability to re sole and re heal the leather soles. If they change that they'll lose me as a customer.

Why not float it?

400 dollar boots?

oh dear.... maybe instead of wasting three years developing an ugly ar5e boot, they could have spent the time trying to save the business....

Started in prospect not Salisbury. Do your research

The RM brand is just awful. The boots I bought 25 years ago are in better shape than the ones I bought four years ago. Such a pity RM boots have been rooted.
