And she's such an utterly charming stage performer. Few inhabit their songs like Aurora.

I'm a 40 year old combat veteran of the Kosovo and Iraq wars, in my youth I attended fight clubs. And I'm proud to say that I cry everytime I hear Aurora. Fight me :D

I have listened to this version over 500 times, it still has the same affect on me. My favorite female performer.

she goes somewhere timeless when she sings, there are old melodies and ideas that she channels and gives voice to ancient pains and joys. so much purity and delicacy, only a soul that untarnished by the bitterness of modern life can wield a voice so perfect.

Holy shit I think Aurora might be the Mozart of vocals.

The best way I can describe her and have tried to describe her is as one who accentuates the true meaning of the word artist and makes it mean something again. Aurora is one of those singers that you may only come across once in your lifetime. She is something more than just music. It's like something is returned to you when you listen to her sing that you didn't even know you lost. She's an angel of musical magistry. I am beyond excited that I get to see her in concert in San Francisco February 17th 2019 for which I already have tickets. There is no singer on this planet that I want to see live more than Aurora. She is quite literally number one on my bucket list of artists that I must see live. Thank you for such amazing reaction videos.

So true ! She is definitely my favorite artist. Every time I hear this song I have tears in my eyes .

The amount of emotion that she puts in her own music makes anyone in awe. It's as if you feel the happiness and sadness when she sings her songs. I can only imagine being to one of her concerts.

Yes...she is out of a fairy tale...she is my favorite to...keep playing her music to make me feel good..

Supernatural is the same thing I feel when listening to her,.. she is transcending all female singer out there, she has set the bar higher for those women that wish to fallow her. Wow!! and she is only 21,... can you imagine her potential?? Yes she blows me away too,.. I found her music by accident serendipitously searching for introverted music artists types.

Every time I hear her, or see her sing, or in interviews, I fall in love. She is so pure and in the moment, every time. Her songs are genius and her vocals are incredible. She takes you on a journey, and you don’t want it to stop. But there’s a message there too, and everyone is included in it. She embraces all.

She sings from her soul her true self. She’s so amazing in so many ways. Wish she knew how loved she was 🤗

I first heard her from an NPR Little Desk series and since then, I am enthralled and fascinated by her albums and live performances. Her band is exceptional too! They all “gel” nicely.

Aurora has also done some work with Wardruna, a band inspired by old nordic traditions and Vikings. It is on an old Norwegian language, whose nobody now understand (except language experts). But you will find translations to English in the comments. The song is about the walk the dead ones must go to the other side (Valhalla?) This is "heavier" than Aurora's work, and I hope you will find it interesting. As you probably know, Aurora also likes Heavy Rock like Metallica. Pure therapy...... Release of emotions for me as a listener. sobbing here... Imagine being able to be audience at that venue. I've visited Nidarosdomen as a tourist, and it is breathtaking.... on it's own, then ADD AURORA.....

Well said good sir, well said. I am taken on an emotional ride every time I listen to Aurora, I am always feeling love when I hear her sing.

"You can put her in any fairy tale." Yes, since she seems to have stepped out of some elven world.

You should watch the 15 min documentary aurora made called Nothing is Eternal, on youtube. It was really beautiful and I think we as fans might understand her a bit more with it.

It's not easy to find words to describe her and her music, is it? :) It sure is easy to feel it, though. She spent her childhood well in the forest, contemplating what makes us humans tick, no matter who we are. Her music is a laser beam right into our soul of souls. And her presentation is ever so much more interesting than reading the philosophers. :D I wish we could have studied her music and poetry in Philosophy class. We would have gotten so much more out of it.

Amazing singer and artist, but you'd imagine (and she does if you watch inteviews) acts like this all the time. Like acting like the world is some crazy LSD fueled experience like she's seeing bubbles and beautiful colors flying by er all the time and she's stiucking her arms all over the place trying to grab them lol. Being her boyfriend would be a PAIN. IN. THE. ASS. She's amazing, but she's gonna look back on these performances and how she acts when she's 40 and Cringe SO god damned hard, she'll be able to clench her entire face into a fist. lol

She makes me think of the Scandinavian version of Kate Bush. That is for those of you who are familiar with Kate Bush
