No matter how many times I listen to Aurora, I never grow tired of her. I get into different artists at different times, but at the end of the day I come back here. None can comfort me as much as Aurora. It is here where i find my solace and peace. It has a healing effect on me. She's therapeutic. I feel a connection, a relief that comes from expressing your repressed feelings to a friend, a friend I never had.

I'm living with an abuser that's usingnmy autism and sensory processing disorders against me as a weapon to hurt me, but my bestfriend gifted me ear buds and this is all I can listen to, all of her work on repeat. It drowns out all the blasting thrash metal music my abuser has turned his giant speakers to face my bedroom door. It's my only escape from that over stim. Thank you Aurora. This song is SO important to me. I discovered this song and thus Aurora when I was going through a really difficult point in my life, and I couldn't really picture myself being where I am now. I had basically hit my lowest point, and this song made me feel a lot and cry a lot because at the time I was almost certain that I would never get to a point where I felt comfortable with myself and really embraced what this song says, that I would never see myself being alive as something good and that I would be able to at least partially let go of everything that was weighing me down. But here I am, and now when I listen to this song I cry happy tears because this is real, I've finally made peace with myself, and I don't really want to go away anymore

AURORA started writing melodies when she was six and started writing lyrics when she was 9 When I was her age I just watching anime after school. omg. I am a year older then her. But here she is. Writing and singing about nature, her perspective in life and about acceptance in each individual. Her maturity. And here I am. Don't know what I'm doing in my life.

this was the first song i've ever heard by her, and with that first word, i knew that i was in love with her voice. i tear up whenever i listen to her songs now and honestly? wouldn't have it any other way. her voice is stunning

This song really hits me where it matters. I am lucky to be alive, and not anybody knows it. She describes the rush and gift of living afterwards so well. Difficult pasts really changes a person.

Aurora's songs have helped me so much. Its like these songs were made just for me because a lot of her songs have something in common with my past

She began writing this song when she was 9? Kids say the darnedest things. No but actually, we are always trying to go back and recapture the spirit of being a child, some people spend their whole lives trying to. "I am lucky to be alive" is such a pure testament, of course she was child when she wrote it! Amazing :)

But as you understand how life works, we can't always feel that light,can't always be happy and stress free. Life is like a wheel, sometimes you're completely alright and grateful that you are alive, and sometimes you just want to die and forget about being human. And we left no choice but to go through that phases all over again, endure the pain, learned the lesson and move on. Being a human is so tiring, yet beautiful. But I still can't fully accept that I need to go through that phases. : (
