One of the saddest jobs I ever worked was a dishwasher at Cracker Barrel. The kitchen was loud, people constantly shouted, dishes would pile up and up and often covered with layers of half-eaten food. The floor was covered in a half-inch of muck consisting of leftovers mixed with spillover dishwater. Management would only give me one shift per a week which wasn't enough to pay for my bills. We weren't allowed to listen to music. The job sucked the life out of me, especially since I was the creative type. But around the time I had the job, A Different Kind of Human was released. I couldn't listen to it while at work, but the song "Daydreamer" always stuck with me. It didn't matter how awful my job got, I could always daydream about beautiful worlds I could create in my head. The song has pushed me to continue pursuing my dreams of filmmaking and writing. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm working on it.

In an interview she said when she was very young she was playing outside during winter and there was a very thick layer of show, it was already dark and the stars were out. She fell on her back facing the stars, everywhere else she looked there was only snow. She said that at that moment she truly understood and how small we are compared to the universe.

55 mental hospitals and 27 arrests for fighting on the streets. Was homeless for a years. There was a coffee shop that would let me come in and give me free coffee. Interestingly enough, I still had a computer. I would watch her videos and find peace and solace; solitude; serenity. She even answered my Facebook post and her dad liked it. Literally saved my f*cking life. Literally. No exaggeration. I am alive because of Aurora and her sisters.

In all the times I’ve been a part of KZread in looking up my favorite era of music…70’s and 80’s, I have rarely gone too deep into reading the comment sections of those videos because there almost ALWAYS will come upon a negative, derogatory and/or vulgar posts and language. Many times you can view a young child or teenager who had uploaded themselves singing a song. And whether there were mistakes or flawless…off key or spot on, you can almost put money down and expect to win it back that within the first ten, or so, comments there will be a poster that will say something very crude and offensive. You can clearly see in majority of the vids that it is a young singer, and yet…the rudeness of those people have no shame, or class, in tearing apart those young minds. Again, just classless. But, it is such breath of fresh air whenever I’ve finished watching a KZread Aurora concert, or finish viewing one of the MANY, oh so cool, hilarious and witty, interviews that Aurora has done ….and, then I’ll scroll on below to read the comment section because I want to, hopefully, keep the nice vibe going from which I had gotten from her interview or show ….and, sure enough….just about every post is the sharing of positive light. You can ACTUALLY feel respect within the comment section. I’m trying not to sound cheesy, so if I do… please forgive me. But, honestly…imho, that statement is true. Most of us Weirdos and Warriors share many common things, quirks, ticks, awkwardness, introverted(to name just a few)…and, yet, I feel that Aurora’s true nature, her constant encouragement to all, her messages of hope…has created a culture on all the social media outlets that she is a part of that feels comfortable and most feel safe from possible ridicule or getting bashed for misspelling a word(for example). I’ve said it a MILLION times… and I’ll say it forever, and a million times more, that I’m endlessly grateful to our amazing and beautiful Forest Pixie 🧚 …for, literally, saving this Hawaiian dude’s life… because for a LONG while, after finding the lifeless body of my step daughter…trying to continue working at my job with a smiling façade after learning my wife wants a divorce(later overhearing her speaking to a friend the words “…if he would’ve gone in and seen her earlier she would still be here…”. Basically, blaming me for her passing. You know how much that rips out of you? Its been seven years and I’m still trying to fill that painful hole.)….then, last year, losing my Mom. Four months later…my sister-in-law passes away. Both from Cancer. And, so…I truly felt like I was drowning…and, it felt like waves after HEAVY waves of seawater was constantly filling up my lungs and silenced any chance I had to voice for help. And, by this time, not being one to ever ask for help…partly because I’ve never wanted to feel bothersome to anyone…and, partly because I felt exhausted from the fight…and, partly because I’d grown weary and had lost the will to keep fighting. It was like I had tried to take one last gulp of air in hopes to stay afloat…but, that last gulp I was swallowing was all saltwater. And I was falling to the ocean floor FAST. Better, I imagine her playing the female character in Dan Simmons' Songs Of Yperion saga, a space opera, one of the most important "epic" science fiction works of the late 20th century, the last two of the four books ... if there's a god of film art and he fulfilled my dream of seeing her act (and sing, and dance) I would be the happiest person of the world. Aurora has essentially created a religion. She is the only one to do something this monumental for generations. I am so grateful to be part of this generation. People make fun of the people between Millennials and Gen Z, but once they grow up, they see things far more clearly than anyone from previous. I know more children with adult qualities than the adults in my life. OUR GENERATION has learned how to grow up.

I think the first reason why I love her because she's like me - but with confidence. I know my authentic self always needs to be hidden and being called "weird" sounds so wrong and out of the world. I struggle to show off the real me and AURORA has been encouraging me to do it. P.S : I also do hand gestures in my room. It's such a weird thing for others but it's relaxing, and I think the best way to express and feel my emotions and feelings more is through my hands being suspended in the air.

This song LITERALLY made me a Daydreamer, I was listening to this on repeat before I go to sleep, as I usually do and I started seeing scenes and stories and stuff. I've made tons of "music videos" that live in my mind when I listen to her and other songs of course. Under Stars definitely has the most with 3-4 different storylines in my mind.

I would also say who are empathic. Aurora is not only a great voice and storyteller (some lyrics are like a poem). She is unique in a way how she is manage to pass feelings and emotions (or create it in listeners). On top of it she is great personality and just beautiful human beings. You can see it also in many of her supporters.

Found out about her at 10 after watching Frozen 2 and knowing I'd seen her name somewhere before. I'm now 14 and it's been a blessing to listen to her whilst growing up.

At the end of the video she is calling us to her queendom. She is so gorgeous and amazing. Like there is no words to describe her. Our goddes fascinated us again. I wanna live in her world, universe. Eternal time and happiness surrounded by colours and voices. An ethereal Queendom for eternal souls...

I think the point is that you *CAN* live there. You just have to open your heart up and bring that beautiful world into your life through your words, deeds, art, and the creative expression of your imagination, 😁. I think Aurora's Queendom is one where we all just live freely as who we are, and we bring out the beauty that's been in us this entire time. She's like the Angel in our shoulder telling us that we are truly beautiful and lovely, and we make the world better by just being in it. You make the world better by just being in it! sometimes music is better than the artist. but aurora is just a goddess and people think her music is boring well I pity those people and they will never feel what we do. I feel so lucky having found her music. it literally feels like she has given me one more reason to live and her messages that she is trying to convey through her songs are what other artist will never be able to do. only if the world heard her music more and appreciated her effort.

I daydreamed listening to this, this is more than just vocals...

I was the one who first discovered Aurora and then showed it to my family. I showed her to my sister first and she absolutely loved her. Then I showed her to my dad and he called her an absolute genius. He said that all the singers are great but she is above them all. And then I showed her to my mum when I put her songs in the car. And now every time we go in the car to a journey, she asks to put on her songs. So our whole family had become obsessed (I'm the biggest fan though!!) Aurora, if you're reading this, we love you!! And I will come to your concert if you ever come to the UK! (again, my mum said that we should go haha)
