This is the performance I ALWAYS recommend as an intro to her. She is so amazingly free in this one. The Norwegian artist Bjork was at this performance in the crowd and is also an Aurora fan

Bjørk is Icelandic.

The woman on background vocals is Silja Sol. She's just as talented as Aurora. She left the band to focus on her own music career, but she is beloved by Aurora fans. Nobody else can keep up with Aurora so beautifully. The drummer, Magnus, is also no longer in the band. He was her producer and drummer, but he also left the band to pursue his own career. This is one of my favorite live performances from Aurora because it was my introduction to Aurora. Forgotten Love is my favorite from this show. She has many amazing live shows, though. Fun Fact: Bjork, one of Aurora's influences, is in the audience.

Yes, I think this is one of the top reactions to this exceptional show. She and her band are on fire here and the short song set list is awesome. She is so unique and authentic that of course her clothes are too, thrift store repurposed and mixed and matched or completely made from her designer sister with I am sure lots of Aurora input as to what she wants, you won't see anyone else wearing clothes like Aurora. As for her energy, she just loves to dance, she had lessons for 10 years, 6 to 16, so she is really a good dancer too. Can we talk about her lyrics? Aren't they brilliant? I really enjoyed watching this with you😊 I love this mini concert so much😍 Fun fact: The marks around her eyes symbolises inner emotions, smiling wrinkles and tears. She cuts her own hair with a kitchen/pizza scissor 👍 She’s such an awesome and beautiful human being❤️

So cool! I was gonna mention her haircut looked like she cut it with scissors but didn't want people to think I was making fun. I know a couple people who cut their hair the same way ❤ Shes so in tuned with her soul 🥰

@@snakevenomv She cut it that way because she’d love to have long hair but she hated it, so she kept it long in the front lol Loved this hairstyle 😍 Nowadays she has longer even hair, but I still think she cut it herself. She’s not a fan of going to the hairdresser. I’ve cut my own hair for years, no one knows, at least they don’t say anything😂😂

@@snakevenomv As cool as the KEXP show is....Nidarosdomen is THE Aurora concert. It's a journey to say the least. It was also the very first thing I ever saw/heard of her back in March of 2020. During the early pandemic, my job was shut down, and I was bored...and was like "hmm, wonder what this Aurora Nidarosdomen thing is..." Well, 1 hour later, I picked my jaw up off the floor, was buzzing with a feeling of inspired hope I hadn't felt in ages, and immediately knew I'd be a lifelong fan of Aurora starting now. That was 4 years ago...and how true that was.

Her new band are good. But there was something special about this line up. There were so in touch with her music & her. It was something truly magical. If you want to see something really amazing try. Aurora live in Nidarsdomen. It's an old cathedral in Norway. There's a full orchestra with a harp. This band plus a choir. And even the church organ. The whole experience is breathtaking. It's about an hour long. But you wish it was longer. I watch it every Christmas night. It's become a tradition for me😊

This concert came into my feed at random in 2019. I had never heard of before, but I was stunned. I have seen this concert many times, but it always feels fresh. This is a great introduction to her as you also get a sense of her wonderful, somewhat quirky personality while she and her band really bring it. I have seen her live in Boston in 2019 and 2022 and both were amazing experiences. Her fans are the best. Only other artist of recent who I really admire like her is Ren. Like Ren, she does great covers and original thought provoking music.

Btw, Björk was in the crowd 💜

As much as I love her albums, and the awesome music videos - her live performances really are a thing of wonder. Great reaction.

You will love her official videos too, they are really artistic! She is a fantastic danser with art in the performans. Where Ren is an actor in his presentation of his art, Aurora is a danser! She has the most beautiful videos!

As a metalhead i think artists like Aurora are the types of music «we», like to listen to that is not metal. It’s so pure, authentic and primal in a sence. She is fantastic. Kate Bush is another artist like this..:-)

This is perfection,I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Aurora live 3 times and believe me this is what you get every time with this amazing artist,and I’m so happy for you to experience the joy that same joy that I have experienced over the last 7 years,I can’t believe that it was 7years ago that by chance I came across aurora but trust me it’s been not only a beautiful experience it’s been a medicine for my soul,This concert is amazing but for me the small live concert of her performance with the Bergen philharmonic orchestra is the most emotional moving performance I’ve ever witnessed,I’m 68 years old and honestly my tears flowed like a river, it’s a performance from Aurora that has to be on everyone’s bucket list and for you to react to it would be amazing for you will be moved like never before. Stay safe my friend and as Aurora would say “ let love conquer your mind”❤️

Outfit: she buy most second hand / used, or her sister Victoria (and Aurora) makes a lot of the stage clothes. At the Kongsberg consert she had found just white clothes, and used a marker and made the pattern herself..... 😊

Yes they harmonized beautifully together. Isn´t Aurora magnificient? Isn´t she special? Different? Authentic? Expressive? Funny? And wait until you learn more about her personality. PURE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥One of my favourite live shows of hers. Her other KEXP live show in Seattle a year later is also FIRE💯

I love Aurora live and as acoustic/ stripped as possible, but this set and a couple of others are incredible. I go back to this one often, planning on just watching "Churchyard", but ending up watching the whole thing 😄. She's very good at "building" up her songs. Slow start, with maybe just her voice, then more and more added (with some slower parts inbetween) before the "big finish". Terrible way to describe it for sure 🤣. Oh well.

I must've seen hundreds of reactions to AURORA, but KEXP might be my biggest weakness (not really) and whenever I see a new one, I simply HAVE to check it out. I've seen this magical performance on my own at least 50 times and at least 100 times with reactors. I never ever tire of it.
