Aurora Fire dances to Danheim songs Framganga, Fridr, & Ivar's Revenge. This video premiered at the 'Gather the Witches' online Samhain event by Witch.With.Me.
Aurora Fire is a group of fire performers located in Yellow Springs, Ohio. We make many of our own fire props, and we delight in the strange and unusual. This was our first video project in many years. Through this process, we learned a lot about how to record our own video, what looks good, and how to best portray our concept. Performers in this video include Astrea, Scarlett, Ashes, Andrea, and Ali. Recording and editing by Astrea, Scarlett, and Ashes.
More strange and beautiful videos are coming! We plan on joining forces with a photographer/videographer and giving life to our fiery dreams and smoke-filled nightmares.

Note: This video was created during during the pandemic in late summer of 2020, but we had a relatively high level of safely--we kept six feet apart, or in the case of the partner poi, we held our breath when we came close to one another. We also severely limited other social interactions outside of our group. Even though this video was recorded during the pandemic, we did not experience any sicknesses in our group, or in any of the other people with whom we interacted. We also practiced a lot of fire safety as well. We hope you all will stay safe out there and not start any fires you can't extinguish.

I ve been always a fan of some nice old nordic Music or just good powerful Music with Fire Dances since the Day i saw this at a medieval Winter/ Christmas Market here in Germany. They did similar Things like you did here in this Video. One Time they did what you did at the End here. Those fast spinning Fires that you perform with a Partner. You did a great Job! :) Makes me really go back to the medieval Market. Its this Time of the Year anyway, so it is open again :) Those Shows felt always so nice and breathtaking. Thats sooo impressive, you feel the Heat from the Fire in Cold of the Winter that has such an Impact on you. You almost freeze because it is Winter and you ve been out for several Hours and go to such a Fire Dance. And suddenly it is cold but you can feel a warmth a few Meters away, so its always a weird Mixture between cold and hot. And sometimes when you go very fast or shake those Things where some glowing Ash are in them, it becomes unbelievable hot and bright! So powerful! Reminds you how brutal and pure Fire, Cold but Nature was and still is aswell. With the only Difference that nowadays we dont really need to fear the Winter and Cold. There are still a few People and a few Tribes that do. But most of us dont. Makes me really appreciate the Safety of a warm House. Even tho it is thrilling to think about how it would be or to just be outside in the Cold and maybe try to go hiking or camping etc, or to have one/ a few Nights in a Cabin and such! Anyway good Job! You gave me some nice Memories :) Greetings from Germany!
