I’m from Alaska so I see the Northern Lights all the time during the winter and it is beautiful. It never gets old. You did a great job recreating it. I 💜 this painting! Thank you for entertaining and teaching us!
How absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!! You are the Queen of Artists. Leta
Being from Canada I can tell you nailed it. It looks like a picture of the mountains in Alberta. By the way, I see a sheep and a wolf on top of the mountains.
I've seen the Aurora Borealis and you've really captured the "unreal" quality (for lack of a better term). I'm just now starting acrylic pouring, so resin isn't in the cards for awhile. But, definitely something I might try if and when I get better. Thanks for sharing your wonderful gift.
I LOVE how the sky is reflecting off the mountains. Just so soooo beautiful Marcy. Thank you again for sharing your incredible techniques with us.
This kind of art is sooo cool, awesome and beautiful 😍😍😍
I just wanted to say thank you. Your videos, and a few other people's, have inspired me to try something new. I picked up most of the supplies today and hope to try my first acrylic pours tomorrow on a vase and a canvas.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! Wow!
Ooo! This looks so nice! I love the way you make the painting and this one came out super good!
This is my favorite of your art so far. You do the most beautiful work. I'm inspired.
You nailed it!!!!! Totally looks like the northern lights, Aurora Borealis, living in Canada we do see these, although you have to get out of the city, too much light pollution in Calgary's night skies. Your Canadian fan
This is so beautiful ! I have been to Alaska twice and never seen it but you did a great job ! Thank You
WOW!!!!! I've alwys said that I would like to go see it for myself. It's just unbelievable.
Wow, gorgeous!
That is Stunning!!
I personally paint with acrylics and create paintings like these as well. I’m glad to see that there’s another medium with similar techniques! Very beautiful! From one artist to another, I really enjoy the visual appeal of this piece. The colors you chose to use together made a great combination. 🖤
Awesome! You make super cool art! I love it!❤❤
I love your tutorials. This looks amazing! I just ordered some stone coat art resin, super excited to try it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art!

SO beautiful!!! I lived in Minnesota a total of 10 years never witnessed it personally. 2 of those years Scott and the boys lived there too. Scott saw it... I was SO jealous *whines* that's just unfair!

Looks great. 😊
Beautiful 🤩
Nailed it!!!
Oh man, this is absolutely gorgeous! I'm super nervous to try resin because i live in such a dusty place. The desert southwest. My studio is a 125 year old cabin and isn't sealed in any way. Bugs and dust get ike crazy. I want so much to do this though!!! Aghhh, so pretty!
Another incredible painting for sure! :D :)
I love your channel so much
I’m not sure how I ended up on this channel but I’m so glad I did! I love watching dirty pour video as they are so very calming for me. Your art is amazing 😉 I instantly subscribed when I saw the thumbnail of one of the videos.

Wonderful art.wish to try out.
I'm sure you'll find a way to see the real thing some time, but for now, this painting is a beautiful rendering! Love it!
I thumbnail is beautiful, I can't watch the video at the moment but I'll for sure watch it at my free time.
I know this was from a few years ago but I am just now watching it. How do you clean up the sides of your painting that you miss with the resin? Can you do a current video showing that? Thanks so much. This was an awesome pour. Love watching you.
I love this was iffy on the green but I love it. I'm really thinking about ordering resin and give it a try soon.

Absolutely gorgeous! I really want to give this a go now. Have you ever tried doing this with paint instead of resin? I'm curious about how different that would look. Also, I've watched countless videos of yours in only a few weeks. You've really inspired me to try pouring soon. If all goes well, I know what everyone is getting for Christmas. Thanks a lot for your amazing videos!
Gorgeous. I'd love to see a resin sunset. Wonder if one could manage tree or wildflower-esque silhouettes over it....

Northern Lights??... Looking beautiful the sky & mountains!!
😍😍😍😍yesss
Thats cool yo
Our brain waves must have been on the same link, because I was just thinking of how a painting of the aurora borealis would look like
You’re awesome
You should do a 50 shades series! 50 shades of gray haha, 50 shades of green, red ect. To go off your 101 color pour
Wow I love this! Ur such a good painter compared to me.
Love your projects. Can a pour medium be used in place of resin as it is so expensive.
HI! I just discovered this tutorial and I'm so glad I did!! I've never worked with resin before and your video was immensely helpful (and it came out beautifully!!). I have a few questions that I'm hoping you can answer for me: 1. Are you using disposable cups? And if not, how do you clean them? 2. I noticed in this video you place your canvas directly on the table. When it dries, will it stick to the table? And if so, how do you get it off? 3. I don't use a heat gun. To get air bubbles out I use a torch. So when it's time to heat the resin for manipulation, can I use the hair dryer? Thank you so much for your help!! xoxo
I’m gonna make a guess before you’re done. Are you making the Northern Lights?
I just found this and it’s gorgeous. Want to try it soon. The SC Black Base Tint - is that a paint or powder? I couldn’t find it on their website. Thank you!!
I always have a room available if you want to come up!
I like it. Have thought of using phosphorescent glow powders?

Beautiful painting. Just curious as to why you are spray painting the canvas before you pour resin on :-)
I absolutely love this! Please can I ask, do you need to spray paint your canvas to start with? I don't mean to seal them or prime them, as the ones I have are pre-primed (they are white), I mean is it necessary to paint the purple/black/gold 'splodges' for want of a better word? Thank you x

No, not necessary :)
It’s beautiful. I know it’s hard with light reflecting off of it but it looks like there were some spots in the upper left and right hand corner that didn’t have any resin? How do you fix that if that is indeed the case? Overall it’s gorgeous!!But if I ran into that situation I wouldn’t know how to fix it.

Fico encantada com a sua pintura. Moro no Brasil não tenho freotol vc poderia me dizer o que posso substituí agradeço muito .um grande abraço 😋
I would be so grateful if you could reply. I was wondering for your acrylic pours, how do you treat or seal or whatever the painting after it dries to prolong it and keep it nice looking and what products do you use

Is there a big difference in using the high power heat dryer and using a torch? Are they interchangeable.?
@MixedMediaGirl
5 жыл бұрын
The heat gun helps move the resin around, whereas the torch more just removes air bubbles. Both can totally work though as they both heat up the resin and make it more moveable.
This is awesome! I can't wait for payday because I already know exactly what I'm going to order. I'm going to order the set of mica powders and the art resin. The small bottles for now. I've watched all your videos but I'm having a hard time remembering if you've ever added regular acrylic to your resin? And can you add the mica powder to your floetrol instead of acrylic paint? And that $30 off of 80 is really a great deal.
@MixedMediaGirl
5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I've added acrylic paint lots of times, it can just cause different cure times. You can mix mica powder with floetrol, it's just near impossible to get it mixed in well enough
@sherrislife2046
5 жыл бұрын
@@MixedMediaGirl Oh man I know I'm going to drive you crazy with questions because I'm excited but, I'm still a little confused. So when using resin like with your dirty pour do you just add the acrylic paint into the resin without the floetrol? And I think I understand if you just wanted to use the mica powder you just add the mica powder to the resin without anything. I'll have to go back and watch a lot of your videos to learn more. I mainly focused on the painting when I watch them because I didn't use resin so now I need to watch them again.. I think I understand the basics. The resin is like your medium, so no floetrol is never needed. Right?.. just add the paint to it, no floetrol..And most likely I would never use the mica with floetrol.. I would save it for resin.. oh, and the alcohol ink is added the same way? Ok, thanks
