Aurora Borealis - Fire In The Sky | Full Documentary in High Quality

#fullepisode #auroraborealis #documentary
In the earth’s polar regions, a ghostly flicker and colourful glow often brighten the night sky. Whoever sees an aurora event will never forget this impressive experience.
Finland’s Saami people, Alaska’s Inuit, Canada’s Native Americans and New Zealand’s Maori all have legends about the origins and meaning of this magic natural spectacle. These stories tell of spirits dancing in the sky, of a bright and better world where hunting game is abundant, of battling gods and celestial messages.

In 1975 I was working in Prudhoe Bay. It was 55 below and very still and clear. The Aurora appeared like a giant theater curtains in the sky of many colors, it made an eerie crackling unearthly sound similar to high pitched static electricity. Saw altogether it made the hair on my neck stand up. In four years of working there I never saw such an intense display. A once in a lifetime display!

I noticed that in this video that the sound made by an Aurora Borealis are made by our brain I say BS to that! What I heard was real and not my imagination. They say that the visual image on the brain makes the sound. When I sat in my truck to warm up I could still hear the sound when I wasn't looking at the Aurora. It DOES make sound!

I believe you. Science is funny, it only accepts what it can record. Yet earlier in this video it talked about recording what the eye can see but the camera misses.

Yes, at times you can do things to coax a buzzing or whisping sound in your ears through visuals or whatever but its not real sound. The over sensory stimulation of the lights mixed with the cold and crispness of the air could produce this effect. When I was a kid I saw blue railroad tracks in the sky when the northern lights came down to the city. Just by looking at the sky you could barely see they were there and then the whole sky was full of it. Like bands of blue ribbon in the sky like railroad tracks just bending and looping around everywhere. Can anyone tell me anything about this?
