In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Muhammad Shah Rangila the 13th Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1719 to 1748. Muhammad Shah ascended the throne with the help of the Sayyid brothers. Muhammad Shah was a great patron of the arts but his reign was marked by rapid and irreversible decline of the Mughal Empire. Later the invasion by Nader Shah of Persia and the subsequent sacking of Delhi greatly accelerated the pace.Watch Complete episode to know more

Ha, sabse pehle Badshah akbar ko namard banaya tha is sangeet ne. Kya zaroorat thi Tansen ko fatehpur lakar unke liye mahal banwane ki. Fir age ki mughal generations classic ragon ne hi paida ki, kyuki akbar to namard ho chuka tha pehle hi....soooooo sad🤔🤔🤔🤔

Very informative and rare narration of what Delhi was before Aurangzeb and what it became afterwards. Like Kehwa khana , Clothes , language , elite and commoners - these are very minute details . I really appreciate the compilation. Par Bhai , ye kahani bahut hi dukhad bhi hai . Mughalon ki loot , vastav me BHARAT ki loot thi. Isko thode sensitivity ke saath bayan kiya karo, pahade ki tarah nhi. Aise bhi it's not a UPSC capsule. Aap shayad UPSC aspirant rhe ho isliye shaili kuchh aisi hai. I am from a DHRUPAD singing family and a music lover and i bemoan death of Muhammad Shah RANGILE. Indian music , Art & Culture was at its zenith during his long reign. He became a Mughal Emperor by accident and was not cut out for it. What Mughals looted by brute force and Hindu atrocities was lost by way of loose and beparwah / carefree Mohammad Shah Rangile. The Brutal Mughal sperm went soft after reaching its PEAK at Alamgir. Jai Bharat 🙏

Islam is a universal and it has all the provisions for all time. Sultan Aurangzeb Alamgir did nothing wrong for banning Sharab, dance,music etc… Muhammad shah rangeela lost his ancestors legacy because of loosing consciousness due to same practices of consumption of sharab,dance,music etc…
