You should stick with, old songs, traditional folk music and new songs that compliment those styles. With so much "change," going on, groups like yours could be instrumental in preserving our history and heritage. Auld Lang Syne is an eternal tune and will never become outdated. Bravo 👏, you guys are top notch.

When the clock struck midnight, I stood on the walkway in front of my house under the giant old maple trees, and listened to this play quietly as revelers throughout the valley set off fireworks in the distance, and a soft, light snow began to fall.

This is probably the most timeless song in human history and this is by far the best version I've heard or will ever hear. God speed to all in the coming new year.

My brother lost his battle with depression on May 18th, 2021. This song is incredibly hard to listen to, but it reminds me to not forget the memories. He won’t be with us on Earth for 2022 but he will in spirit, and I will never forget how awesome he was. He only lived to be 32 but I treasure every year I had with him.

I’m so sorry for your loss may your brother rest in peace this is such a sad song I don’t know why I feel sad when it’s played on NYE. My cousin is in a hospice right now and we are waiting for God to take her, what a tough year for a lot of us. May 2022 be better.

My grandmother passed away last December. She was not Scotish herself, but her granddaughter (me) was born in Scotland and she had held an affinity with it ever since. She wanted Scotish music for her service, but due to the service-providers we couldn't. Her ashes will be scattered tomorrow, at the place where she was most happy. I won't be able to be there, but I suggested to my family to play a nice version of Auld Lang Syne. My dad asked me if I could find a nice and appropriate version. This rendition made me cry. It is gorgeous. Thank you for making me feel I could be part of her send off.

They aren’t Scottish, but The Elders have a song called “Men of Erin”. Bagpipes are the main instrument and it brings a tear to my eye so much I can hardly bare to sing to it. Beautiful song.

I am French and I thank my teacher of English to have taught this song which yet goes straight to my hart.

This is my favourite song-even since I was a kid, I have said I would like this sung at my funeral. This is the most beautiful version I have ever heard, it moved me to tears. Aside from Covid, this year has been the worst year of my life, after my partner of 15 years left me, and I’m stranded overseas in the US (I am from the UK) and can’t travel home because of Covid. It’s been so hard and lonely. But this, this right here, moved me to tears and gave me some peace during an awful period in my life. Thank you.

I've been listening to this a lot too... My adoptive father, Darrell and my ma's brother, Richard both passed away recently and this has been kinda my go to when I hit the low - lows.

I have not Scottish family that I know of, but 2yr ago I lost my sister at 26yr old and always listen to this and for what ever reason gets me everytime . this songs digs deep in your mind and brings things back to life ..... thank you

I lost my partner March 11th of 2021. This song is emotional. He won’t be with us in 2022 but his spirit lives on forever.

@deblosey811 Thankyou. You are right, albeit, I soon discovered it was because of heritage. My Homeland, and how it had been destroyed. 2024 will be a revival year.

The opening is....ethereal in its beauty. I felt like I was in a cathedral and hearing the voices of angels.

I'm writing this particular version into my will. To be played as the last hymn at the service. All royalties to be divided between these divine singers.

This has to be the most incredibly moving & most spectacular song I have ever heard in my entire 63 years of life! I have tears pouring down my cheeks . . . I feel like I’ve entered a magnificent cathedral & this stunningly beautiful chorus of angels was waiting to greet me. Thank you for such a timeless piece of musical perfection. 🙏🙏😇❤️

I've listened to this song almost every years for over 6 decades, and this is one, of not THE most beautiful version that I've heard. The beauty of the music supports the feelings of hope and happiness for a new and better year! Thank you for sharing!

Next to "Happy Birthday" Robert Burns immortal words are probably sung more than any other song in the world. Love the UCD choral scholars rendition.

This song is synonymous with New Year's celebrations but this particular rendition, to me at least, sounds heavenly & ethereal. It's what I would imagine a choir of angels would sound like.

This song reminds me of the fact that nobody is unimportant. You may be forgotten forever but what you do while you're alive WILL matter. Weather it be you, your family your child grandchild or friend. what you do will eventually lead to something important. We all leave a legacy behind.

BEAUTIFUL....This song brings back memories of loved ones and special times from my past 70 years. THANK YOU.

I'm listening to this from the great Lone Star state of Texas. Very impressive singing. Very clear, true tones, no distortions or competition, but an expert blend and nice harmonies. The closest thing to a Heavenly choir.
