What a lovely little hint to the historic wodner the song was a part of, missed from this video. ❤️ Guy Lombardo maybe made the song US known for new years. But if there were versions of the song in various languages in the trenches so all could join the tune. I think it's fair to say it was known before Guy did his work.

Hahaha sorry to disappoint! It was more of an equipment issue rather than a conscious decision, but maybe in 2021! Who knows!
