He's right, Comte's studies have nothing to do with "positive" feelings but everything to do with positive scientific empirical evidence.

Just now learning about this in my sociology class. Thank you for breaking this down the three stages, it really helped me understand it better.

the lecturer explained this in class but now i understand more after watching this, especially the first stage- Theological, and its substages (fetishism, polytheism & monotheism).. Thank you very much sir. Much love from South Africa❤️️❤️️❤️️

I teach history and went a little outside of my comfort zone for this one, but it was rewarding and it seems that Comte is making sense to a lot of people because of it. "Easy to watch" and "accessible" are two of the best compliments a teacher can get!

This was an excellent overview. It's funny that you're back where you started from stage 1 to stage three. "It doesn't make sense." I'm glad you said this was OK since we lack the inherent sensory equipment to perceive such things as the fabric of space-time. I think most people would like to experience the fabric of space time, I find it a worthy challenge to develop augmentation equipment that would allow us to sense this reality.
