Saw them live in 2009 when they toured Aus with Parkway Drive & Architects. Jake came out to a quiet crowd asking how we were doing, with no reply of cheers & then growled “I SAID HOW ARE YOU DOING” to which everyone lost their shit & I became an instant fan. Ahh memories of metalcore

I'm not even a huge fan of their music but they're an incredible band for learning guitar when it comes to metalcore/deathcore/death metal etc... once you've learnt the easy killswitch songs and unholy confessions then ABR have so many fun intermediate to early advanced songs to work through. You also don't need to own a 7 string and tune your guitar so low the action is fucked either.
