I believe this is his audtion for SOPA (his high school) because he took a year off of school between high school and middle school to debut. So, once that year was up, he auditioned for SOPA (already a member of BTS) and entered the school. At least, that's my understanding of this video.

Even then when his voice hadn't matured yet it was beautiful.☺💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

He has such a powerful voice even at 15 years old. It’s actually crazy. I’m still in shock he didn’t make it through superstar k3 or whatever that was. Turned out great for us though lol

Probably one of the best examples of how JK has taken his beginning strengths and expounded on that over the years to tune his own sound the best way possible.

Since day 1 JK did showed a very extraordinary vocals putting all his emotions in every song he sung. And it was developed for years as he joined the BTS group. Truly he is beyond exceptional and army were so proud of him. You are amazing JK!!!
