Audio Technica AT VM95ML Unboxing and Review
Here is a full unboxing video of an Audio Technica AT VM95ML phono cartridge. Here you can experience the unboxing of this brand new phono cartridge with me and hear my thoughts as I am unboxing the product. You can jump to a particular section by clicking on the timeline below in the description at any time.
I also briefly talk about other topics related to phono cartridge and stylus designs, and as well perform a comparison of the sound characteristics of this VM95ML against my personal phono cartridges which are the Audio Technica AT450, and the Stanton 881S.
At the end of the video, I give my honest opinion about this VM95ML and as well describe some of the things I have noticed when comparing this cartridge against my other two cartridges/stylus combination setups.

that record warp is massive
Stanton and Pickering were always one company
I have the full range now & after buying the AT-VM95c just the other day & trying it I would say that anyone starting out with HiFi go for the AT-VM95c as your starter because it's a really great Stylus/Cartridge.. But going through the full range Up to the AT-VM95sh I'm now having fun with the AT-VM95ml which I feel is giving me great fun too.. So whatever way you go about it you will not go wrong with any of the Audio-Technica VM range as long as you spend your money in the right way. because you will be learning about Hi Fi right from the beginning which will never end.. Great video.🎵🎶🙂
I bought mine for $199.00 us dlls. Look for model AT-VM95ML/H. Cartridge is already mounted on headshell, almost ready to be used.

Mine also Japanese, bought in the UK, but no screwdriver 😢 lol
Is that an original stylus on the Stanton or generic?
Just FYI, mine made in Japan I bought it from Bic Camera store in Osaka.
I just acquired the AT-VM95C/H, and have a small problem with it. I’m getting either distorted or very low signal on the left channel. The right channel is perfect. I’m using a Numark TTUSB.

I think Wally was doing Capitol’s mastering - both for Capitol and for other labels.
Technics overhang is actually 52mm.

Yup, technically it's 2 inches it's an old industry standard from the sixties, mounting hole spacing 1/2" distance from mounting screws to stylus 3/8"
I couldn't hear any difference
