How are you chopping up the continuous video into separate clips in P/T?

Pro Tools Ultimate has the ability to import multiple video clips, as well as having up to 64 video tracks (only one is active playback)

Is there a way to find where the clip is pointing to on the hard drive? In the clips, I can right click and find in finder, but I can't seem to do that for video.

Thanks for reaching out. What version of Pro Tools are you using? In the current version (2024.3.1) you can right-click on the video file in the Clip List to "reveal in finder" - this will open the finder location with the video file. We don't have an older version of Pro Tools to test this with.

@@ProMediaTraining I'm on the latest version, 24.3.1. So I can do what you mentioned on audio files, but I'm not seeing the ".mov" clip under clips. How can I find it there? There are tons of clips on this project.

@@focusedonpost It sounds like you’re “hiding” the video clips. Go to the Clips menu, go to “Show”, make sure Video is selected. You can also shortcut it by using “Shift + Command + 3”

@@ProMediaTraining So Shift+CMD+3 takes a screen shot on my mac 😞. Also, in the "Show" under clips, it only shows audio and midi, no video. When I deselect Audio, nothing shows. Weird.

@@focusedonpost Sorry for the late reply. Forgot to ask: What version of PT are you running? Studio, or Ultimate? There is a difference in video capabilities between them.
