Nice! Tnx for this! your videos actually inspired me to try to build my own set of tower speakers; I plan to use old wooden beams from old roof, and I'll make in them (from back) holes for speaker cavity, so that from front, I only have circular holes for speakers. Idea is to have it look like it's one continuous peace of wood from front. And base of each speaker, I will make out of aluminum, but in way that I will melt aluminum and pour it over wood (I will make temporary mold to keep aluminum from spilling over). I think it will look interesting. P.S. you are also responsible for me discovering Parts Express and Dayton Audio :)

Make them! Then you'll be able to hear them every day! Recordings of speakers are only as good as the speakers your listening to the recording through. A recording of hundred thousand dollar speakers played back through twenty dollar speakers only sound like twenty dollar speakers. That being said, I still may make videos of what they sound like! :) But my goal is to inspire people to make their own, so they can hear them in person!

+Kirby Meets Audio I understand your point but if they aren't good speakers in the first place then I don't want to make a whole box that only fits those speakers and I don't like them.

I totally understand that. Thats the really tough part of speakers on the internet, you need to audition speakers in person to get a real sense of if you like them or not. Audio quality of a speaker can also be very subjective. It's all a risk! Luckily the build videos I've made so far are pretty simple builds, so if they aren't to your taste, your next build will be that much better for it. (also, I don't make bad speakers!) :)
wtf are those god given eyes
