Audio book "The Wolfen" by Whitley Strieber Read by Roddy McDowall 1990 (Abridged)

Ойын-сауық

In an atmosphere of sheer unbridled terror, two police officers stalk and are stalked by unnamed enemies---enemies too ugly and savage to be human, too clever and deliberate to be animal.
The Wolfen: Shrouded in darkness and sheltered in urban wreckage , they have preyed upon man for centuries , evolving into an ever more sophisticated, cunning race. Only Homicide Detectives Becky Neff and George Wilson are convinced of the existence of the Wolfen. Their knowledge, instinctive, visceral, and horrifying beyond comprehension, binds them together as they pursue a relentless quest to destroy this savage, faceless evil.

All of this channel's uploads contain significant and unique edits only known by me. Any copying or reproduction of this channel's content will be promptly reported. Creating these uploads took a lot of time and labor on my part. Seeing other users continually copy, take credit and post my content in part or in it's entirety as their own is extremely frustrating and disappointing. If any channel subscriber or random viewer notices any of my content appearing on other channels I would strongly encourage you to please report it to KZread as well. Thank you!
The majority of these audiobooks, which were converted from audio cassette tapes into digital Mp3 files are over 30 years old. Some of the cassette tapes had to be taken apart and spliced back together, which can be a very delicate procedure. Just a little something I thought I would do so I could salvage these particular works and share these with others before the tapes and tape players deteriorated completely and before the world of analog recording becomes completely obsolete. Most are not true books because they are abridgements. When I first started collecting these audiobooks, unabridged books on tape were either very rare or extremely costly. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit.

I picked up the book on a supermarket rack when I was 16. I think I read it in one sitting. It made quite an impression. I'm looking forward to hearing it performed by "Cornelius/Galen" himself!

Echo the earlier comments. Fantastic audiobook! The Albert Finney movie is a sleeper classic, but I like the book better. Roddy McDowell's performance is great. Thanks for uploading!

Omg, the voice is unmistakable, within the first ten seconds I was thinking. I know that voice, and another ten minutes and I had it, the unique and unmistakable Roddy McDowell! What a gifted man he was, put together with this extraordinary book and you have a real treasure!
