Pilotage toujours incroyable, tu nous régale par ton calme en étant à ce point à l'attaque.
At the beginning of the lap. The car understeered and he had to slow down to the 70-90km/h region to make the turns. Also there were a lot of traffic. But at 5:50, there were a series of corners where he really toss the car around and slide the car, keeping the cornering speed 110-130km/h region. Much faster than understeered style. Perhaps he was more comfortable with the car, or the tires are warmer now and also there was no traffic. Whatever the reason, it was good that he let the rear hang out and was able to drive much faster that way. True Touge style! In conclusion! Amazing driving.

Excellent drive!! Just like how I used to drive my Gtr33. He knows how to drive right on the limit. Anticipating everycorner that the back could get twitchy and counteracts it very well. Had a few moments myself opposite lock on a 4wd car. But it's such a rush though. As for fuel. I was doing a 5th of tank per lap. Good ol days.

Simplemente brutal
The idea of this (great) video (and others from the same driver). The same pattern applies : some epic on purpose sliding (like Wippermann for instance, on purpose too much trail breaking to over shoot the entry with oversteer) BUT also some amazing cornering speed for instance mitkurve / Klostertal where cornering speed is comparable to slick tires cornering speed during races... Not to mention Schweidenkreuz cornering speed. Respectfully, to be visible, some strong racing experience at the ring is required.
Nice to know the RS6 can corner!
It is amazing the GPS in the car has the full track and its alternative routes on there, I am guessing in Germany google maps would have made this track available like a major road? Fascinating.
nice driving

Brutal,excelente conductorr💯
Audi rs6 avant very fast,thank you.
Crazy fast 😅👌🏻
After watching several of his track videos, I can't agree with the opinion of many others here. Imo you have to separate two things here.Firstly, he drives without showing any nerves, almost as if he was taking tranquilizers, without feeling and that's also the problem, he drives corners too hard without getting the flow you expect from the pros to keep up fast lap times without having to go back to the pits in a short time. He doesn't adapt to the situation, he demands that it adapts to him, that's why the car slips again and again in an extreme way. Physics cannot be bent in this way, but I have to admit that it is spectacular to look at ; )

oh we had many Audi avants (wagons) in the family and they always kinda did both at the same time, or oversteer
that's a surprising amount of oversteer for an AUDI ! C8 outperformed the C7 in terms of track performance i believe.
@enai-lo
3 жыл бұрын
i think the driver made it more oversteer, we can clearly see that he is doing it purposely to make the turn faster on fast corner and because Audi made car that understeer it is not dangerous because it make the handling neutral so this guy is excellent
He is thrashing the hell out of it, one heck of a driver man.
c'est asser impressionnant on l'a essayer hier, c'est terrible ce que ces pneus qu'ils appele des peus pluie vous font vous demander si la voiture va rester sur la route a l'approche du prochain virage...
Super car super driver!..
Beast🚀
Really chucking all 4200lbs into the corners, dabbing the brakes on corner entry to let the weight of the car rotate the rear around and point you in the direction you want to go. Awesome driving, not everyone would have the balls to throw a $120k estate car around the ring like that.
It got pretty tail happy around hohe acht/wippermann. Is it due to tire overheating? Any signs of graining on rubber afterwards? Interesting behaviour of the car. Lots of tyre squeal 😅
Looked like the tires were starting to overheat about 6 minutes in to the thrashing. Fast but still heavy car for this kind of duty. Looked like a very smooth ride over the concrete banked section so I guess the extra weight is good for something...😁

Fortemente sottosterzante! Sarei curioso di vedere dopo la prova in pista le gomme anteriori 🤔
Nice bit of classic Audi understeer into Brunnchen !
Until the 3/4 of the lap the tyres overheated and there you have it the old audi handling again . Understeer , oversteer , not a track car for shure. But in the beginning of the lap it was impressive how well balanced it is. They are going in the right direction but are not there yet. BMWs and AMGs are much ahead in that discipline.
Great car! But the tires scream for dear life on every corn because of the weight...
MATHIEU SENTIS THE BEST ...
Amazing skills as always. And what a speed this car has. But WHY it is set up for so much understeer I just don't get? Audi just don't know to nail it - it goes over the front so many times in this video... Nor fun or fastest way around. But nice family and highway train :-)
The worst thing in the world is being humiliated by a familiar car that is rs6 bro 👌👌💪😉😁

Supermarket closes in 10 minutes but it's a 20 km drive
I'm far from being a track driver, so please, someone with a bit of knowledge tell me if what he does is correct? What my unexperienced eyes see is that he turns the steering wheel way too agressively, which makes the car understeer, he does it sometimes even before the turning point at the corners... it almost looks like he's trying to do it. In my (again) unexperienced eyes, if he went smoother in some corners the understeer would be much less constant. If so, would it compromise the lap time? Is this a case in which being agressive > smooth?
@speedsociety9177
3 жыл бұрын
I believe he was on purpose throwing it into the corners to provoke oversteer which would enable him to carry more speed. The alternative would be to slow down so much that you don't get understeering, which he did in the beginning and seemed quite a bit slower.
Hot wagon
